caller claims to be DEA

just called me saying they were from the US government giving away 7200.00 dollars in grants to over 2000 people and my name and number were chosen.  Gave me a confirmation number and a call back number.  When I tried to call back there was no answer...

I also received a call from an unavailable #  saying I won a $10,200 grant and to call 202-436-9751 to "claim my award".  Its a scam.

I got a call from a blocked number telling me to call that number for a tax free grant.  I called the number and some Indian guy picked up.  I could barely understand him but he told me to type in google search for teamviewer 7 overview.  When I got there he told me to click on the second link and then scroll to the bottom of the page.  After that I couldn't understand him anymore and he hung up.  I looked up "teamviewer 7 overview scams" in google and there were a bunch of people who said that that site gets used alot in a computer virus scam so it's definitely fake.

These people have been calling me for a week non stop with grant money I could receive today from Western Union I have been contacted before from them and they are always foreign people.  It is a scam no monies are ever there.

Got a call I had been selected for a grant for 8000.00.  They gave me another number to call and when I called that they said I was to go to a moneygram store with $200. and that I would be able to collect the 8000.  Just a scam they are getting people to send them 200.00 and then you never get anything... I did not do this but I am sure this is the scam.

i just got a call saying they were the treasury Dept. in Washington, All people were foreign with an American name. Really? told me to go to walmart call them from my cell phone. I would have to send them 230.00 they said it was a personal loyalty grant for 9000.00. I will be calling the real treasury dept. tomorrow,

A company just called me claiming to be the United States Treasury Dept. Telling me I was chosen for a $9000.00 grant called a personal loyalty grant, The phone number they told me to call back to was 202-436-9977

This # called me all week, I just keep hang in up cause I am not sending them anything

I just got a call from somebody saying they were from the US Treasury office in Washington DC. Told me I had won a Personal Loyalty Grant for $9,000.00. Gave me an approval number and a phone number to call 202-436-9977. Tried to call it just to find out what information they were going to ask me for. Nobody answered.

teamviewer is to take remote control of your computer< don't ever give this access to anybody

yeap that is why our government give visa to these Indians, so they can scam people, give visas to Mexicans so we can have fresh fruits and built houses and take care of our landscape

I just hang up on those scam artists.the Treasury department.don't tell you to go to wal-mart and send 230.00..and ask for bank account numbers or debit card numbers..don't fall for there lies..just hang up on them..or tell them to EAT ???? AND Die..
