Getting this call for the last 6 months. "Hello, this is Bob Smith from the IRS if you do not contact me immediately your account will be in default". Why not certified mail? And, it sounds like a call center in the background. It's Fake.

Got the same call but a foreign sounding guy couldn't understand

Caller with poor English who is making treats.  Says he is from the IRS.  He did not know whom he was calling.  Demanded my name.

these people call all times of day start at 6am..ugh..the man actually started yelling at me when I couldn't understand him..now I figured out how to block it seems to be a scam in India?

I also have received a few demanding phone call today! I didn't answer, they left messages!  With a thick accent says: if I  or (my lawyer)don't call back and immediately I will suffer serious legal consequences!! Oh yah he is an officer Parker or Barker ( of what) ???  Then he says have a nice day!

We got this same robo call. Not very convincing, very heavy accent.

I've received 6 calls from this phone number today stating it was the IRS calling from Washington D.C. starting at 6 am.  I finally called back and asked to have my # removed, some man with a heavy accent said my supervisor can do that for you but you'll have to suck his c*ck first! Then another man joined the call and started making sexual & rude comments! Parents beware!!!

Bogus phone scam

It was a robo call saying that 4 local "cops" were going to pick me up if I didn't call back and take care of the "matter."

got  several  calls  from  this  number   warning me  that   the irs  is  coming  to  arrest  me

Been getting this call for the past 2 days.  Stating IRS and I have to respond or be taken into custody by the local authorities.  One day the calls are coming from Texas the next day Washington DC.  Annoying [***]
