Received call saying I owed 105 dollars for a loan application. I informed him that I hadn't received any loans from anyone. He then continued to state that I would be picked up from my place of employment at the time I was confused then I googled the number and alleged company name American Cash and found no support of truth in anything they said. I didn't belive you had to pay a application fee for a payday loan.

These same people call up to 10 times a day. They always ask for "Carmen Woods" ! I have calmly explained this has been our number for the last 15 years, it does not matter. They get mad at me because they think Im this person !

so is this a fake person

This company called my HR Director and left a message.  She let me know and I called them back.  They tried to tell me that I owe them $525  and if I did not pay it they would send me papers to areest me at my job.  They would not send me any paperwork confirming that I owed them anything and he would not even give me the number of the company he supposd to representing.  I told them that I would not pay them any money and hung up.

Received numerous calls also stating I was going to be arrested.

I had this same thing happen yesterday. This is a scam. They threaten you with the cops and summons and being picked up at your home or job. I told them I never took alone from them and I got more time than money. My bank statements will prove this then I hung up. They weren't even american but from India some where. Crazy things happen when they get a hold to ur social and other info.

Go to www.donotcall.gov and take your number off the call list. It helps but of course can't protect u from everyone. Hope this helps.

They also called me on my cell phone stating I owed money that I never received.... This is a scam but I would advise changing your bank account numbers because they did mention my bank to me...

These people have a way to get a stateside number from over in another country. Scam unless u did get money from them

This number called me saying I owed money for a loan and if I didn't pay the sherrif were gonna come arrest me. I told them not to call no more an they did.
