Someone called me twice yesterday.
Caller ID says Washington, DC

They called me 4 times from this number? Trying to also find out why! Any help as to why?

Apparently its a polling system for chicago mayoral race - given a list of names, who would YOU want to run for mayor.  Body is not even cold............

This is so stupid.  My area code is obviously not in the City of Chicago.  I happen to be from Chicago, I do care what happens to Chicago, but I cannot vote so my opinion should not be worth anything.  Dumb...

my caller id with this number says American Voicem

answering machine picked up and they were gone

My personal number has part of this number in it. So it is showing up on caller ID. Problem is people are calling me back wanting to know why I am calling them. Really annoying! Anyone have suggestions on how to get my number to stop showing up?

They asked for the parents of my sister. I handed the phone to my mother, she asked who they were. They said the American Prep Center and proceeded to tell my mom "your daughter indicated on her ACT's that she request to raise her score"....my sister hasn't even taken her ACT's yet..My Mom asked again who they were and he said "Thank you maam" and hung up.

Caller ID (like above) says American Voicem. Called back and got an answering machine saying the party you tried to reach is unavailable - please leave message after the tone.

Very sketchy SOB's.

I just missed a call from this number and tried to return call. All I got was a full voice mailbox.

It's definitely regarding politics.  It's a number that gets reused for whatever political stance they decide to solicit for the moment.  Just ignore it.  There's nothing you can do about it.

I just got a robo call for elections in Illinois from this number.  I used to live in Chicago but don't anymore and I don't have an IL area code.  The call never identified who was calling...I had to google to figure it out.

This was a recorded message asking if I felt safe in my neighborhood.
I tried to hang up an it kept talking and asking me questions..xn&^%!!

Just got that number on my caller ID in Chicago.  WTF??

Also got it. IL, NW Burbs.

We got 2 calls from this number in the last hour. IL, Western suburbs.
