I have gotten several calls from this number but I don't answer.  Tried calling them back and it gives me a fast busy.  No idea what it is, but they called me twice today.

They keep calling, when answering machine kicks in they hang up.

This number calls and a person on the other end states that they are from the US Govt. Grants Department. They then say that your name and number has been chosen for a $7800 grant from the Federal Government. They then say that you have to go get a Money Gram Express form and fill it out (form LM451, or something?).Then they say that you will ahve to pay them $200 for the security check to make sure that you are who you say that you are, then they will send you $8000 back since you will then get your $200 back.
I only listened this far since they called my 15 year old son who was pretty convinced it sounded legit. He could have easily went and lost $200 and got himself into a mess load of issues with this.
Parents: please talk to your kids about scams like this. Sometimes we assume that they will "just know", but I know adults show up in the news who have got scammed.
Not cool. My son is still seeming to doubt me that I am for real and they are not. I have to explain to him that any time you have to pay money to get money for no reason at all, it is no deal, and you can only lose.

Keeps calling me 2 times

They keep calling everyday.  I pick up and they just breath on the other end of the phone. THIS HAS TO STOP

This number an another number kept calling my husband yesterday. Then he answered it an they said he had a 7,800.00 grant. But he had to pay $200.00 for insurance. He did. Then they said he had to pay $500.00 for taxes. We didnt have the $500.00. They said he could pay  $250.00 then when he gets his grant he could pay the other $250.00 well now they want answer the phone an want give the money back like they said. We told them that the $200. Was food grocerys an we didnt have any other money. We had to borrow the $250.00 that was for the taxes. Now we are out of the $450.00. Does anyone know what we can do.
