I got the same call!

Caller claiming he is from the IRS... left a voice mail to call that number... called it back and he answers Internal Revenue (something)... I doubt he said service... I told him that the IRS never calls, he asked for the number which he left the message, pulled my home address and said a letter was sent last week... I said I received nothing and again the IRS does not call... he quickly said we will send you another letter this week and hang up.

I got the same message and called back. I told him I know about this scam, and he asked 'do you. Do you know about what I am calling'? I told him the IRS doesn't call like this, and asked him to state what he was calling about. He hung up. I believe this is a scam going around for identity theft.

I got a call saying it's irs call back before legal action . Try to call line is busy this is a scam.

THis guy is a scamster. Let's all report it to the FBI and IRS. Asked me to wire about $2800 from my bank. Was almost ready to do this when something told me that this could be  a scam and I stopped.

Even we got the same call this morning and my husband spoke and found out that it was a scam. The scam guy was terrifying & scaring us over the phone saying you will be taken to court and a fine of 2450.00 $ and asked us to wire the amount through the local bank. My husband was a little skeptical but was almost going to give in, then he told to the man over the phone that I want to talk to my H & R block folks and make sure the amt is right before I wire the money. That's when the scam guy got  mad and hung up the phone. Then we found out this "202-470-5482" number is from the scam guy from this website and my husband called him back to threaten him saying that he is from the FBI and scam guy fessed up saying :) that he is scamming to get some money from ppl and he is staying in Ghana right now and is using VOIP with a DC number to call ppl.

Call IRS at 102-470-5482 Actio will taken against you if you do not call.

I almost got the greenmoneydotpak to wire money before something stopped me. I can't believe how stupid I was to be deceived like that.

I got a call from the same number also, claiming that it was the irs and that I owe them and will be taken to court if I don't call back and settle it. I look all unknown numbers up online now-trust no one when it comes to the internet...202-470-5482

Caller said he was representing a sweepstakes that I had won, and they had tried contacting me through the mail, including certified mail.  He said that I had won a cash amount and did I want to collect the winnings or donate it to the United Negro College Fun.  I asked how much the prize was for, and he responded $700,000; it was currently in escrow and after fees and taxes I would receive a sum of approximately 400K.  I told him to donate the prize, upon which he said thank you and hung up.
