just got a call from this number on my cell - it was a pre-recorded message from a cheesy sounding guy explaining that if I participated in a survey, I would immediately be the recipient of two free cruise tickets to the Bahamas! like, OMG! First of all, I'm not stupid and I'm not pressing 1 to take some random survey (that wasn't even explained in the recording, it could have been for anything) & actually believe I'm going on a cruise FOR FREE! without having to hand out a ton of personal information after completing the  survey over the phone. I pressed nothing but stayed on the line to see if there were more options than to "press 1 to take the survey now and get two FREE cruise tickets to the Bahamas!" .... but there were none, such as "press 2 to never receive a call from us again!"  (I'd send pre-recorded cheesy voice guy 2 tickets to the Bahamas for that option). I just hung up and I suggest anyone reading this do the same if you get a call from this number. While not a fan of cliché's ---  if it seems too good to be true, it is. In other words, it's a scam. If you're reading this, and you got the call and hung up or pressed one or whatever, post here - the more attention this number gets, the better chance they'll go away.

I just got the same call.. i was curious so i pressed one.. first question was press 1 for age group 18 - 25, press 2 for 26-30.. so i pressed two.. then it asked if anyone in my family had diabetes.. thats when i hung up.. i know better than to give personal info out.. but i was kind of curious what kind of questions they ask... anyone make it farther than question 2?  LOL

I got the call on my cell too. I am very careful about giving out my cell to only people I know so am curious how he got my number. I was lucky however and was away and it appeared as a missed call. I Googled to see what i could find out and got to this site

I received the call 12:38 PM central time, Aug. 17, 2011.  I did not answer, they left no message.  The call came on the phone that is provided to me by my employer.  I do not give this number out unless it is absolutely necessary.

Most likely a Robo Dialer just dialing numbers at random.  Even if 1 out of 1000 people follow through, they have a "live one" and will start bugging the to death.

I just got a call from this number too. Bogus.

Same message as Donna described above, the "two free cruise tickets to the Bahamas" survey thing. Audio quality was terrible, hard to hear what it was saying initially. It came into my cell phone, which is not publicly available, so must have been a random robo-call. I hung up as soon as I realized it was garbage.

This number called my cellphone today.  Did not leave message.

yes, it called me twice in a row, like 2 seconds apart, and did not leave a message... my iphone said it was from DC also

The same as others fox described above , very annoying especially on a cell phone and I never give my number to no one easily ,  I wonder how they got the number and how to stop them

I got the call 2 hours ago on my cell and I immediately hung up.  I don't have time for such antics.  You are right...if it seems to good to be true...it is.

Just got a call with a recording that started with a cruise boat horn blasting in my ear and some guy telling me i could win free cruise tickets if i answered some survey question. I hung up.

I received a call from this number today on my cell. Let it go to voicemail. No message.
