This phone number 202-495-7114 called me on May 14, 2009, when I answered it hung up.  I had called Democratic Senator Marie Cantwell on May 14, 2009.  I did a reverse directory search on this phone number and found it originated from "TALKINGNETS HOLDINGS, LLC-DC" in Washington D.C.  Other information obtained was that Exchange: 202-495 (Level 3 Communications, Llc - Dc)
Phone Company: US LEC OF VIRGINIA, LLC - DC.  This could be a government wire tap or some kind of verification of your phone number to add your number to a list.

got a call from this # today  Caller id said Almond Joy

It's from some group trying to get Missourians to support a lawsuit against Obama's healthcare stuff.  I couldn't get them off the phone when I tried to hang up on them.

These people are relentless.  I get call every night from this Almond Joy.  Are these calls protected by the no call list or can I file a claim?

Phoned.  They would not leave a message on answering machine. UKNOWN NAME  on name display.

Vancouver here. If its the US Government, why are they trying to phone Canadians?

I live in Northern British Columbia Canada and also had a call from this number less than 5 mins ago.
When my call display showed "Dist of Columbia, 202-495-7114" I just hung up the phone.

Got a call from them 5 min ago. I am also in Canada. I see there are several others in Canada who got calls tonight.

I say we all complain to our MPS and get the US telemarketers to respect our do not call here in Canada.

I get the calls from this number several times. I got to talk to the person on the the other side. they say I got free cruise travel to bahama. I can't believe the government still allow these people to scam inocent people.

A guy wanting to know about "the ad I had running on craigslist" and "was i still available."
I said no such ad exists and hung up.
He was asking if I was an available call girl!
Very creepy
