Same Called no voice, nothing on other end

call and hang up when you answer all the time

Recorded message that they urgently need to speak with me about my Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and Discover cards. How anyone could possibly consider this legit from even that is a mystery to me. The only card I have is a Visa bank card, so there is no interest for them to possibly lower.

Complaint filed.

I am on the do not call list so I am filing a complaint.

just got a call from them on the Magic Jack.  Didn't answer.  If it is in fact a automated message, those are banned as of September 1.  

"After September 1, consumers who receive prerecorded telemarketing calls but have not agreed to get them should file a complaint with the Commission, either on the ftc.gov Web site or by calling 1-877-FTC-HELP."

should have added this from that same web page:  "Violaters will face penalties of up to $16,000 per call."

If I had answered, confirming that they're a robocall, I would definitely be turning them in.

I also just got a call from this number on my MagicJack.  I didn't answer in time but I called back and got an automated message saying to press 1 if I want to be removed from their calling list and to allow 72 hours to let that take effect.  It seems pretty fishy since they don't ever say what company they're from.  I've been getting similar calls from 228-209-9560 and 702-705-5063 AND 402-982-0785.  This all started on 8-3-09.  I'm tired of it.

Same thing posted by many previously.  Got a call from 202-495-7138.  Answered it and heard the robo call about the urgent need to contact me about my credit card.  Thanks for the tip and the link to complain.  I will definitely file a complaint.  I don't pay significant money for a cell phone to give spam callers the convenience of 24 hour access to me.

I answered the phone and got a message saying it was very urgent about my VISA card. So I stayed on the line and when the lady came on I asked if she knew my name as a security precaution. She said, "I didn't ask for your f* name" and hung up. I called back the number but only got a message asking if I wanted to be removed from the calling list. So I did a reverse look up and found that it is listed under the name Event Insider in Washington D.C. I did a Google search for Event Insider and found nothing......yet. I haven't given up. they called me too on 9/26/09

Rec'd call from this number on my cell.  Didn't answer, when I called the number back it said, if I wanted to removed from mailing list push 1.  I of course, pushed 1 to be removed.  Fishy to me, also.

I received this call on my cell phone today and didn't answer.
Last week almost 5 times per day another # 202 540 5120 called my home #.
Found out it's a scam.  I reported it to the FCC .  Not sure why they aren't stopping this company!

This number calls me a few times a day, starting at 5 am and ending around 12 am the following day.

I never called them back.  So many people/companies promising health care/benefits with fictitious policies.
