I got a call from this number but was not home.  I am on the do not call list.  Is it helping.  I THINK NOT!!!!

Called me at 9:24 AM on Saturday 11/12, no message of course. ANNOYING

Got a call from 202-499-1479 - Washington, D.C.  Did not answer, because I did know the number-my phone goes to fax machine if I don't pick up..

Number called at 4:58 PM today. Didn't answer and the phone went to voice mail ... but no message left.

Just got a call from this number, hung before my answering finished its message...called back, the number is busy.  Curious

Got a call from 202-499-1479 and picked up while the answering machine was picking up. Caller seemed to be gone already. Checked online, and it seems it was not a legit call. We are on the Do Not Call list, too.

received call didn't answer, no msg left

I got a call last week from this number and they didn't leave a msg. The only connection I have to DC is my unemployment claim and I am waiting for a call from them. Does anyone know if it could be the unemployment office?

Received a call from this number a few minutes ago.  Pressed Ignore and they left no voicemail.  I am on the do not call list also.

Just got a call and I didn't answer because I didn't know the number and I was busy.  No message.  Very curious.

I answered this number it was a survey and they give you the option to take you number off their list by pressing nine before the survey

Asked three survey questions about how Democrats/Republicans/President is handling the debt crisis, with the promise of a Bahamas cruise for two for answering. I answered the questions and then was transferred to a 'specialist'. I asked them what the catch was and they told me, "The catch is that you and a loved one will enjoy a fabulous cruise to the Bahamas!" haha... so I asked what the port fees and taxes were and they were $59.95/person and I had to pay them *right now* on the phone. I told them I couldn't do it right now, and they asked me if there was someone else here that could pay it for me. I asked them to send me information so I could review it and then I will decide if I want to pay it or not, but this was supposedly only a one-call offer and had to be done on the phone right now.

I call BS.
