I got the call today too..saying they are investigating this and that.

Be aware of the crooks and fraud
Introducing themselves as crime investigator -Three different people talks (including interpreter)  linking the  matter with Revenue Canada and threating penalty of $25000.

Asking for payment today to resolve  the matter or will be court case. Payment through Reloadable voucher (Home depot or any grocessary store and some body will collect from your home. They don't provide any contact number and want to hold  the phone for more than 1hr but do not want to recall (to hide the identity)

These are Indian scammers. They call from india but rooting to a USA phone line or just use a regular usa number. What canadi said was right about everything.

I called them back and the guy likes to call himself "Kevin." These people can't make money in india so they are hired to do scam calls.

Call received from 202-506-8155 as Green Card Immigration - Fraud

Got call from this above number from Washington D.C base saying I am from Jeywilson company which is federal agency for state IRS verifying. said, " I am federal attorney and N. B investigation for IRS banking. Also mentioned that they are legal action company. name given as Rose Johnson as position senior supervisor. Said come to their office to pay . only cash accepted.

Need  help to find out who is this  and what is this and bring them to action if possible.

Got a call from this number on voice mail telling that there is legal action from Justim Hammer against me. Asked me to call back on this number.

They called my mom in Houston. She was so confused and handed me the phone, so I missed the beginning schpeel, but she was going on about an IRS issue/case against them when I took the phone. Spoke with authority so it confused my mom. I demanded to know what her name was and what company or agency she was calling from, saying I was her attorney. She asked for my bar number, which I wasn't about to give her. I told her I would hang up if she didn't tell me what agency she was calling from, she didn't, I hung up.

Definitely fraud, used big words and spoke with authority but want actually saying anything real.

Female with suspicious accent - Rose Johnson - said there were Immigrations and IRS criminal charges filed against me. Local police will arrest withing 72 hours if I didn't settle out of court by paying $496  instead of $4000 penalty if I go to court.

James Morgan caller and Female with suspicious accent - Rose Johnson - said there were Immigration and IRS criminal charges filed against me. Local police will arrest withing 2 hours if I didn't settle out of court by paying $951 instead of $4000 penalty if I go to court.There was a third person on the phone who claimed to be a sheriff Justin Hammer of local police station

They hung up when I told them that I was in front of the police station.

This is big time fraud and need to be investigated.

Scam.  Office of "Ross Johnson" asking if I got the notice from the local police dept.  Claimed to be working for the Federal Govt./FBI.  Something to do with not paying taxes. When I said that does not make any sense, she hung up.

I received a call from this number. Someone by the name of officer Rose Johnson was calling from some govt office in Washington DC, to collect my missed tax installment from last year. I was told that local police will arrest me if I don't settle this over the phone immediately. She suggested the case is field by the US Govt against me and also gave me an arrest warrant number. After hearing their story for few minutes I hang up. IRS don't collect back taxes over the phone.

These jokers said they were with the "text crime investigation" in washington dc.  I told them there was no such thing.  They pass you along to their "supervisor".  I told them to take us off their list.  I also told them I googled their number, they are a scam, they thought I was pretty smart.  I'd say they are pretty stupid.  I think he said his name was James Morgan, but had an Indian accent.  Not sure what they were hoping to accomplish, but don't give any personal info.

Got a call from an officer "John Williams" with an Indian accent! Ridiculous. Apparently I have a legal affidavit out. I suspected a scam and looked it up. Reading the above messages, it's pretty clear that these jokers are trying to make some cash by preying on unsuspecting victims. Would be fun to have a radio station call these guys back and prank them!

They called my place of employment with this bull of I'm involved in a lawsuit.   Fortunately my company does not give out my info.  I am to call them ASAP so that I don't face imprisonment.  Seeing the post it makes me angry that they think I am some kind of smuck.

Getting harassing calls at my job and on my personal cell phone that they are taking legal action against me if I don't pay. I do not know who they are. 202 506 8155

THREATING PHONE CALL

My 74 year old mother recently applied for a visa to India from Canada.  A man called her every min (CID) until she picked up.  Told her passport, citizen ship and visa was frozen until she paid Revenue Canada.  She offered to send a cheque put he threaten her with legal action.  He told her that the police were on their way and that her name would be all over the papers and that unless she went immediately to get prepaid Visa cards she would be hauled away in front of her neighbours (Indian drama).   he would not hang up and let her call family or friends and stayed on the line until she went and got the cards an read him the numbers.  I believe this to be an inside job where her particulars were sold to a group in India as they had interpreter there to speak to her in a threatening manner in her  mother tongue.
