Got a call claiming it was Jason Ward from the "Investigation Bureau of the INS."  Little does this guy know that the "Immigration and Naturalization Service" of the Federal Government has been replaced by the Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).  He says to have my wife (who happens to be an immigrant) or her attorney off record to call him.  He says don't try to ignore this message before any "legal allegation" takes place.  I'm sorry, but I am going to ignore this message since it is coming from a defunct Federal agency, which probably means it's fake.  Most likely a phishing attempt.  Wouldn't disclose anything to them!

Called me saying he is 'Brian Cruse' from the investigation bureau department of the IRS asking me to 'listen carefully', 'do not ignore this call', and call him back at 202.506.9166. Scam! Be careful!

I got a call from this number saying it is the IRS and must call back as soon as possible regarding tax income, when I called back the answering machine was full, and I tried later another officer said this Dan Machoum. And when I asked for Brain Cruse, he said that Brain works for him and he has all the cases.

Just got a call from this fool too this morning who claimed he is calling from the IRS and to take his message seriously. Scam, scam, scam.

I got a call from the same number, but this time is from a David who claimed that he is calling from IRS and he is looking for my  wife and stated the same about having an attorney to call him, etc.  

Yes, definitely it sounds like a scam.

Hi. I just got the same message claiming he was from the IRS. He claimed his name was Paul Brown (had a very heavy accent which is hard for me to believe someone with Paul Brown have a heavy accent). He said I have legal allegations and their will be severe consequences if I or my attorney do not respond and attend to my allegations!
After listening to the message, I went online and typed the number and found this message board!
Definitely a SCAM!  I hope no one falls for it!

I got call from the same no 2025069166 she said she's from IRS investigation  department  

Got a voice mail with a thick Indian accent saying something about a pending charge from "IRS".  When called back, either the line was busy or the answer machine was full.  A guy eventually answered the phone claimed to be an investigative officer from IRS and asked for my attorney.  He told me not to interrupt when he was going to read a serious pending charge against me but then quickly hanged up.  When I called back again, whoever answered the phone said there was no problems any more and everything was "Ok" before hanging up quickly.  When I tried back again, this guy who answered the phone got really irritated and went "m***f**cker I told you not to call back!" and "we've got our own business and it has nothing to do with you!"  They admitted it - a bunch of scammers!  

Same message. The person on the phone states he's from the IRS. Saying I owe money and refused to listen to him. He said that he was going to have to police pick me up and go to jail... Full of crap

I received a call from Brian Cruise. Saying he is  from the IRS. It's definitely a scam!!!!

I got the exactly same message at about 8PST. A man with a thick accent that sounded kinda filipino asking for the same information.

the 202-506-9166 called and mentioned with an Indian accent that they were the IRS and there was a deficiency on the income tax return. We hang up, definitely a SCAM.

Got a call from a male with deep India accent saying there was deficiency in my income tax and I should call back immediately to his senior supervisor on this number. Did call and google it first if number is legit. What a scam!!!!!

I the exact same thing just happen to me just when I got home, and when I called back I got a answering service. It was sad because I was going to off on the guy for not speaking english in the first place. Oh well, I hope he does call back because he's going to get a ear full.

Got a call from 202-506-9166  on March 18, 2014 at 8.54 am.  Someone with an East Indian accent said that he was from the IRS.  Tax filing had a documentation error and he wanted me to correct it over the phone.  Tried to intimidate me by saying that I was talking too much and that I need to stay quite (East-Indian control over women) because I asked for his full name and his badge number.  He finally said he was Jason Stewart, and that I should call in an hour and speak to a Mr. Damon Marshall at  202 506 9166.   The Indian person potraying as an IRS Agent said,  I am sure you get a lot of call I am not asking for your credit card or your ss#, I am from the IRS.  I guess he has a talking point dialogue sheet in front of him when he calls.  I know it is a scam just did not need it first thing in the morning..   WIll report to the Do not call directory also.  

got a call claim to be Jordan Wood (with an indian accent appx 40 yrs old) claim he's from the IRS, and was looking for me.   RIght.... the IRS does not have to call.  They send letters.  It gets the job done.

Me too, I got a call from Jordan Wood claiming to be an IRS agent and with Indian accent. However, the one Jordan Wood
that I know is wanted man from India. Waiting for his another call so that I can patch up to the Interpol to verify his
identity.
