Never leaves messages. Calls same time everyday, multiple times. CID shows Washington, D.C.

This phone number is from an organization located at:  strategicfundraising.com   It appears to be working on behalf of Special Olympics, but is not Special Olympics.   I received multiple calls at varying times of the day.  I also tried the do not call option on their phone number and got a dead end / please call back later response.

I would treat this as an external solicitor - If you want to donate to Special Olympics, do so directly as this is appears to actually be a third party that will get part of your donation.

202-540-5117 repeatedly calls 5 to 10 times per day, leaves no message.

I just got called from this number. I did not answer. No voice mail was left.

A while back there were calls coming in from area code 202.  They were reportedly cancer research of various names.  I called the FCC after I decided to call the number back.  You can try this yourself.  When you call the number back, you get the real owner of the phone number.  When I talked to the woman from FCC I was told this is called spoofing.  If they have a smart phone or Iphone, they can take a legitimate phone number and then spoof the area code to make calls.  The calls stopped for awhile but have started again with the Special Olympics.  THIS IS BOGUS.  Has nothing to do with the Special Olympics.  These are people who want you to send them money and are using this as a way to bypass the do not call registry. Another number they use is 202-688-0811 and comes in as AICR.  This is the cancer research one and has nothing to do with cancer research.

This may be a Democratic National Committee / ACORN based call.  Strategic Fundraising Inc is a Beltway Lobbyist that does a lot of work for the DNC and Planned Parenthood..  The Special Olympics comments may be just a cover for getting your money. POSSIBLE IDENTITY THEFT / MEDICAID FRAUD

Caller ID said "Special Olympic" [sic] but no message left on my machine.  I don't give money out over the phone even to legitimate charities.

You must be related to "harry" because your messages are IDENTICAL (as in "word for word") to one I saw on another website complaining about this number.  So why think it's the DNC?  All the damned political robocalls I've gotten for the past 2 years have been from the GOP!  Including one from a field in central PA purporting to be from Melania!  Yeah, like she'd be standing in the middle of a farm field (which is where Google Maps showed that call originating from) in the Poconos....  As if....

I was excited to answer this call because I was hoping it was my congressional representative so I could tell him I'm really really excited about that new tax break I would be receiving .....$6 per week.

Calls never leaves message, only let's it ring 3 times and hangs up
