- Greenline VictimGreenline call my work place weeks ago asking to speak with me. I told him it was me, then went on the asking me if ###-##-#### was my SS# and my address was #### 5th street ########. I'm like why in the hell are you just blurting out my info like that. No verification, no nothing. Then advised me to pay a debt from ACE. I told him to email me the details, I'm aware of my debt of $200 but he is telling me $700.lol. Well, I received email and it was from a hotmail account "RoseAnne, Baglio rbaglio@hotmail.com" are you freakin kidding me. I had to do a little research about this agency and found out there a bunch of bull. Now yesterday evening I was in the house sick and received a call from a Mr. Kevin Cooper advising me to pay my debt. I told him to called back later because I was busy. He then had the nerve to call back and say "No you going to speak to me now." I gave that man one warning to get off of my phone. He then rang my phone continuously until my mother answer my phone. He told her to eat pu$$y and she could kiss his @$$ in his [***] accent. She had to lay his tail out.I asked for his name and he told me it was F**ker "Motherf**ker". Well, I told him he better get his motherf**ker supervisor on the phone now, then he hung up. He call back over 30 times within one hour, so I called the police. I told the Motherf**ker that the police is on his way to lock him up "lolol". So he then put is supervisor on the phone. I told that Motherfukcer he needs the give his employee some disciplinary actions or the whole company will go down. She then hung up. The police came to hear me out, but he then witness the harrassing call and demanded to talk to Motherf**ker. The Policeman advised him to stop harrassing me and if I dont comply, then report me to the bureau. Now today I received a call from this mysterious company telling me I'm eligible for a $5000 to fix my credit. I told them bammas I dont even over $800 in debt. Then five mins later I received a call from the same people(I can tell by there accent) saying I won $300. Those [***] wants some trouble. But I will handle them the right way.
- Caller: Greenline financial

www.prankdialer.com
I got a "Rick roll'd" call at 4:30am. I was pissed off.
They do have a Do Not Call List that you have to put your phone number in. - ChrisI got a call from this number also. The website is really easy to put your number in for do not call.
It is really really an odd service. I can't see that this is funny. - SallyI'm on a no-call list and my number is unlisted but these people still call
- Caller: Sum technologie
- RysarThis is actually a VoIP provider's number, the Caller ID is not working correctly, so all of the calls you're getting from this "number" are not actually that number. I have a VoIP number in the 703-889 exchange, and when I dial out, that is the number that is provided to CallerID services. I use Vitelity Communications as a provider.
In the examples where you're getting the same people calling from seemingly different numbers, most Voice over IP systems can have multiple "outbound" dial providers, so you'll get the same person, but a different number.- Caller: Depends
- SamDon't call me you [***].[***] you.
- SamDon't call me you [***].[***] you.
- MEI received the call from this # knowing that when I picked up the phone, it was my friend but he was calling from his landline in Boston. And with this area code, it looks like it's from Washington, DC. We're both wondered why the # appeared on my called ID was not his # before but instead this # (202-551-1120).
- SteveA friend told me that his caller ID showed a different number than mine when I called him. I just called my cell phone from my VOIP phone and it showed this number on the caller ID which is a different area code than when I called him.
Something wierd is going on with caller ID's with VOIP phones. - JamesA call from this number this evening - didn't pick up they left a garbled computer generated message along the lines of ... "your ATM card, press one to activate your account." Yeah, right!
- davethey called at 4:30 am - it's an auto-dialer - when i answered, a recording said that my credit card had been cut off for suspicion of fraud - and to press 1 to reactivate my credit card. When i pressed one, the recording asked me to enter my 16 digit credit card number. Looks like phishing has found its way from the internet to the telephone.
I called the number back but it just rang and rang.....- Caller: unknown
- TyzermanI had almost exactly the same thing happen as Dave this morning. Didn't have the wherewithall to actually press 1. Also, no answer when I called the number back. I just put my name on the Prankdialer DNC list, we'll see.
- LauraGot a call from 202-551-1120 - said it was Lafayette Credit Union regarding a stolen account number.
