I have had lots of calls from this number. Sometimes the caller ID says CWFA and other times it says, Washington DC.  Either way they wont talk to me even when I'm on the phone. And often they hang up when I say hello.  Tonight again I got one.  I called them one day to ask them to talk to me, but because the phone is in my roomates name they wouldn't.  I'm female too. So go figure the why's on that..

I have a phone line dedicated to my work equipment.  Anyone who calls me to talk on this line gets a machine that says "this is our equipment line, call our home line."  CWFA keeps calling that number, so they must not be listening to the message or they would know they're not going to get anywhere by calling that number.

This number has called me two mornings in a row before 9am. I work night shift and need my sleep. When I pick up, they hang up. I'm reporting the number to my state Attorney General ! I'm on the Do Not Call list ! IT'S ILLEGAL FOR ANYONE TO CALL PRIOR TO 9am. Concerned Women for America is NOT initiating the calls.

Several calls from this number, always asking for my wife.  When I reply that she is either busy or not at home they hang up without any reply.  The caller always has a very heavy accent, not recognizable by me.  Who is CWFA???

Have called me almost every day for the past week; most recently at dinner time on Sunday! After researching the number, I simply disconnect each time without answering. I have reported them to donotcall.gov each time.

This frickin bull sh*t "Womens" Org has called over the years. I have NO problem with legit companies but this BS group is relentless and hipo(women)critical!

This CWFA 202-552-1966 is NOT Concerned Women for America (Go to http://www.cwfa.org/main.asp to see they use CWA as their Logo.). It is a group trying to make people think that's who they are. Just do not answer their call, or hang up immediately. And send a complaint to your state's Attorney General!

This number calls all the time and they hang up when I answer and they never leave a message if I don't answer. They have called as early as 7am and I try calling them back and the number just rings and rings. I have to see if a female friend can answer when they call again and see if they talk to her.

I keep getting calls from that number too. I finally answered it, since I'd been on this site before and knew ahead of time they're soliciters. A woman who clearly spoke English as a first language asked for me by my last name. I asked who was calling and though it was a terrible reception, I could make out the word 'women'. I couldn't make out the reset of what she was saying. I told her to please put me on her 'do not call list' and she said she would. Then I hung up on her.

Please remember, if you do answer the phone, you HAVE TO ask to be put on their do not call list.......or they'll keep calling you.

Having same problem as everyone else. It seems like they call just to mess with you. This isn't a real organization either, I did some research. I would say just ignore the calls. It may get annoying, but they'll give up eventually. I had this problem with a couple of other bogus organizations, and they usually give up after about a month or two.

Enough is enough.I am a women and I have never gotten anyone to speak. One time they just breathed heavily in the phone. I *69 the calls and it's always the same. Can't these people find anything better to do with their time?

I did not pick up the phone, but I went to CWFA website and found some very good educational resources.  I'm glad I didn't have my pre-adolescent daughter vaccinated for HPV after reading the Fact Sheet.  (Read and find out why!)  There are lots of other topics of which we don't get access to via the regular media.  Don't be afraid of hearing another view.

They call me and just hang up when I answer.

These abusers called me daily for a week.
Know how I fixed them?? My internet phone has a blacklist feature.
I blacklisted their phone number. The message that they get after one ring??
"This Number is Blacklisted. Please stop Calling. You are not Welcome Here".
Ahhhhh.....Sweet revenge!
