Received missed call message on phone when I called back the number was disconnected

The only thing they said was "goodbye"

Calls leave no message or hang up

Leaves no message, just voices in the background

Have received multiple calls from this organization, with the caller id showing from different states, but they ask for the same person. It is a person I've never heard of and I've had this number for 15+ years

they just keep calling and on voicemail all you hear is breathing

I keep getting calls from this number and all they say is goodbye on the message

SCAM ALERT Finally answered when they called for the 1000 time this month! The lady with a very heavy Indian accent said she was calling from the IRS and that I have qualified for a $5000 grant. I said unless they could mail me information that I was not interested, at which point she hung up!!

I received a call with a fax tone at the other end of the line. I received this call after texting a different number I've reported you to Better Business Bureua

Same here, nothing for about three seconds, then Goodbye in a computer voice.

I keep getting calls, so I answered. The man who replied was Indian and said he was from the U.S. Government Grant program and I had been selected for a 9,000 dollar grant. I said that I don't care. I wasn't interested. Please remove my number. He said but you have money free. I said that I don't care. I never contacted any grant program. Please remove my number. I am on the government no call list. He said "Idc. I don't care." and hung up on me. I am so over these calls.

Keep getting calls from this number. I dont answer and they never leave a voicemail.

Received another call from someone who identified themselves as a member of the Federal Government Grants Department, since I had reported them previously to the FTC I informed the caller of my actions and to not call here again, he simply laughed and said he will be speaking to me again, that's when I hung up on him, The caller spoke in a very accented voice, possibly Indian/Pakistani, I am not sure and there was a great deal of background noise, If you receive a call from someone like this, try to string them along and then call the FTC, you can also report them online, The information you provide them helps the FTC & law enforcement agencies track creeps like this and take the appropriate action.

This number calls me about 8 times per day. It comes up as "US Government (prank call)." WTF?!

Caller had a heavy Indian/Middle Eastern accent. Said he was with "THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT", said it like 3 times, so I would believe him I guess. I realized at this point it was a scam, so I did string him along. He said I qualified for a grant because of a study in my state and area. Asked how I would like to receive my grant, direct deposit, credit/debit card, or western union. I chose western union, he gave me a grant number, then asked me to verify my name and zip code (both of which he gave to me, not me to him), then he asked my age (I lied, what woman doesn't) and he asked if I was happily married or single. I said, "Is that relevant?" He said yes, I have to verify you are who you say you are. I then laughed and said I was single. He said and this is hilarious, "Do you think it's funny that the government is giving you a grant?" I said that I did indeed think it was funny. He hung up.
