Keep calling me I answer they hang up don't know what it's about but they know my full name so it's kinda sketchy and it's from DC area which is even weirder considering I live in SoCal.

this guy with a very heavy accent called me He said my name & i answered 4 times with who? after the 5th time i said who he cussed me out for for ten minutes . i asked for his supervisor he said no & continued to cuss me out . if these [***] [***] call me a gain i am going to bait a trap for them & hope i catch something!!!!!!

haha  he just called me too.  knew my name.   its some kind of joke.

Similar to the one-ring hangup calls. I think they are attempting to get people to call them back and somehow scam them for phone charges or some such thing. DO NOT CALL THEM BACK.

202-556-5522 calls me everyday even though Im on the do not call registry, Im a Police Officer and don't have time to deal with calls like this, Im going to do everything I can legally do to find these scumbags for the public intrest, to protect and serve goes for annoying calls too

I Received A Call From ThaT numbeR Everyday Its Weired And Got Me Scared

Called me 19 times! Yelled at my husband.
We do not believe they are the US Gov, sorry they do not call on Saturdays and I highly doubt they outsource to India!

Please help me stop these people from calling me.  It's something about a government grant which I do not want. I receive at least 3 to 5 calls a week from these people.  I have tried to tell them to stop but it does not work. Sometimes it's a male and sometimes a female and they use different cell numbers.

glad to know i'm not the only one dealing with these annoying numbers - I just do a google search on any phone number i dont know, then add them to my phones Reject List so i dont have to deal with them again.

They call me every day when you pick up no one say's anything I keep saying Hello and then after a min some one says something but you can not understand anything they say. they told me they were from the government I told him not true you never gave a name and there employee number....... I did call the Washington D.C. police and told them
the Police number is 202-727-9099 they will look into it

This is some dumb scammer. They call from a variety of numbers. I did a stupid move when I just recently got a new phone number I posted it to my facebook page so my friends could have it. DUMB DUMB DUMB now I get 4-6 calls a day from 202 numbers. They always call and hangup, or call and dont say anything then hangup. I call back its its some guy with an accent trying to scam me for microsoft or whatever. They get your info from facebook, thats how they know your whole name, city and basic info. Never putting any private info on their again.

I don't understand why we have the do not disturb number when it doesn't work. This is getting to be f***in ridiculous. Isn't there anything anyone can do to stop this from happening.

No, they did not get it from just Facebook, although you are right in that you should not post that kind of information out there. Do a search on your name sometime through the Internet browser and you'll see all your information is out there. Scammers and anyone else has access to this information and use it to convince you they know you. They can spoof Caller Id and phone numbers too, to add to the illusion that the scam is legitimate. These scammers just need a few fools to give out their account information or wire them money to encourage them to continue scamming idiots that think they are going to get FREE money or anything else. There will always be fools, so there will always be scammers trying to get at their money.
