i got a call from this number saying i was selected for a grant of $7,000 and to call the number above with my credit card or checking account number.

I got a call from unknown caller saying i one seven thousand dollars  they said they were working with the us  goverment and gave me this number 202 559 0687 she said her name was Anne Johnson she said call this number with a unique code to verify that I am who I am what BS didn't give any info away they knew my name and where I lived she said I won the money because I pay my taxes on time and I never committed a crime and I pay my bills would a bill collector go through all this or a lawyer it don't make sense I called number answer machine pick up don't know what to think

This number called me offering a 7,000 scholarship and I western unioned 250 then I was told that I would have to pay another 800 to cover the taxes on the tax free money.  They told me that the 250 was non refundable.  Please don't be fooled by this scam.  I live on a very limited budget and I am in terrible financial difficulty due to this.  I thought by sharing my experience I could help someone else.  But if anyone out there wants to help me right this wrong please call this number 202-559-0687 and Richard is the guy that took all of my money and tell them what you think about it.

I called them and asked why they are doing this, why they are taking money from people. And this lady said "Stop fuc*ing calling if you dont want your fuc*king money. Can you believe it? I wish I could call the police but Im not sure if i should.

I got a call from a Chinese guy telling me I would receive 7,000 dollars through Western Union but I had to put up 250 dollars but I have not sent them nothing yet I don't know if it's true or not or if I would get the 7000 dollars, why do these people do these kinds of things and say they are Govt.Officials and tell people they are to be granted 7000 dollars only to have to put up another 800 dollars for the taxes? What do I do is this a scam or what? Talk to me Marianne!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was contacted by a man telling me that because of my good credit I am being awarded a grant of $9,000. I had to call a woman Catherine Young at 202.559.0687 who kept reading from her script. I got bored and hung up on her. The same people called my co-worker just three months ago and new her credit card information. She too hung up on them and called her credit card company and these people had made charges to her card without her authorization.

Please do not give these people any information that they don't already have. I was amazed that they new what city and state I lived in already.

I got a call saying I was receiving a $10,000 grant. When I googled the number this is where it sent me. Big scam going on here. Don't send any money to these people. If the government was going to send you money they wouldn't ask for any up front.
