I got a call for them today and I'm pretty sure I was hand selected by Obama to get $5600. WoooHooo!!!

I got the same phone call about the same thing today. How did they get all my info?

I got that call today...
They claimed to be from the "US Department of Finance" and were giving me $5600.
There's no such thing as US Department of Finance, I called them on it and they hung up.
It seems like they're trying to get bank account info to drain your account.

Got this call today, claiming to give me a government grant of $7500 and perform a Western Union transaction processing fee of $280. It is a big fat hoax. I changed my account number immediately afterwards just to be safe. It'll be two foreign-accent (Indian-sounding) people. First a male, then a female at the callback number. DO NOT FALL FOR IT!

This is a telemarketer.  DO NOT EVEN GIVE YOUR DOB.  You have to pay this company small change for them to find a grant you MAY qualify for.  AND this $7,500 I was to receive would come in the form of Western Union?  I don't think sooooooooooo....Ilona

I just got the same call today and knew it had to be a hoax. i didnt give them my bank info and said i wanted it in cash. when the lady said that i have to give 280 to western union i knew for sure she is full of it. i told her to send me a cashier check or money order and thats better for both of us and see said no. thats when i knew she was lying. thanks for posting.

I just also received a call from them today. It came up as a private number then they got some information and they asked me the same thing but did not say to me about the cost. I was to call this number back with my ID# and I thought something was very fishy. I automatically looked up they number and I see that I was not the first one to receive this call. Thanks guys for the heads up on this.Someone needs to catch these guys and arrest them all. I could here a lot of people working phones in the back ground. We need to get thse people and shut them down assp.

This is Crazy..The caller asked for my DOB. If she could tell me what she had i could confirm or deny it..Was asked to call this number...Looked it up first....WOW !!!!

I got a call from an unknown number and want me to call back to 202-559-7918 with an ID code stated I have granted to receive $7500 Obama Fed loan money no need to pay back .. yeah right.. I don't think so.. don't fall for the scam

An unknown number called about 10 times I picked up the 8 time n he said I won 7500 n then gave me a ID number n 2025597618 to call n claim my shitt...that [***] said I gotta deposit 280 $$$ lol I said hell nallim black I aint that dumb

Received this phone call initially from "unknown" initially stating I had been selected to receive a $7500 grant from US Government.  Gave me 202-559-7618 # to call back. Since, I was fairly certain, this is a scam, typed in number and called the number after pulling up this website.  Sure enough was told "for my safety" I would need to first deposit $261, then it would be refunded with my "$7500".  Told caller, I was currently reporting this as a scam right now.  Thank goodness for websites like this to protect innocent people from being taken advantage of!

i literally got called right now saying the exact thing your saying, they said i gained a government grant of 7500 and to preform a western union transaction!!! i jst saw your msg and it is happening the same exact way as you said, first male then the female, i told her i would call her back in 30 mins when i get to the western Union, so tell me HOW CAN WE REPORT THEM????

I received a call today telling me that my husband was chosen for a govt grant because he was a tax payer and that he had not filed bankrupcy.  I was asked to give my bank info and declined, then asked for credit card number, also declined, then they said they could send it wester union but when i called the account "manager" back she left me on hold and never came back.  I decided to check online about the phone number, thank you so much for posting!!

daniee got the same call telling me that I was able to claim 7,500  and I was selected  by us  government t treasury and said I would have to pay and amount of 280 to  receive the money through Western union.   I never believed before but my sister was involved with the same thing   so after that. I was   Like wow
