202-559-7621

I just received the same call, saying I have been chosen for a $7,000 grant.    The call came from (202) 607-2068; however, she wanted me to call (202) 559-7621 .  
She wanted my bank information, which of course, I did not give.  She then explained that the $$ was going to be direct-deposited into my account.  I told her to send me a check.  She said they wanted to make sure I was really me.  I asked her, "Isn't that the bank's job?  Just send me a check."  She gave me a confirmation number and told me to call (202) 559-7621 and speak to Caroline Anderson.  So, if any of you get this call FROM EITHER NUMBER, just hang up.  It's not worth the time or breath speaking to an obviously Indian woman from the US Government, lol.  I told her I couldn't understand her, so she talked LOUDER!!

This is a total scam. I went partially through the process (I didn't give them my checking account information) only to learn that they want you to Western Union them $99. People are more protective of their money than they ever have been so I don't know how they ever expect scams like this to work.

we recieved calls on home phone and cell phone and encountered the same conversation as Barbara and Dawn. They talked to my son who nieveley gave them his bak account info and we contacted the authorites and also cancelled his bank acct. When I call back the # some indian woman put me thru to another non english speaking indian who I informed we were calling police and cancelled bank acct. He assured me that they already deposited the $7000 into his acct. which they did not and said this was legit and he was calling from government. Well he ended up hanging up on me when I said I wanted to speak to someone who spoke english then. You coud here other people speaking in the back ground so they must have a whole office full of indian people scamming innocent people.

i just had the same number and  i calles round 5:42 central time, and he wants me to call them back tmw.....today is friday for me and being a vet. i know the govt. dont do weekends like this

what do i do i gave all my information.  I gave my card #.  so what do i do

These same jerks called and tried me today also so after I googled the # and read all the post I called them over and over for over 5 hours until I made them get pissed and shut their phone lines down - the only way to win a battle is to fight back so when your bored call the 202-559- 7621 and tell them they won 50 cent for being a low life piece of sh&%-

202-559-7621 and other 202-607-2068(from aPrecia Stanley) did the same thing to and i gave them a prepaid card #:-( or should i say smile because see i never used the card it was something that came in the mail....oh i got an email too...
