SCAM..they called and said my name was selected by the government to recieve $5600 in free tax money. I just needed to give them my banking or cc info so they could deposit it. They already had my name and address because he had already stated it to me to verify that he was speaking iwth me. I nicely told the caller if hhe US Gov as  you claim you ae owes me money it can be sent in the mail. I will not be giving out my finaicial information over the phone to you or anyone one else and hung up. I called back and the same guy with a heavy foriegn accent acnswered "US Government how can I help you" please dont fall for this I am sure it is a scam, and it sounds riduculaous and unreal. I really wonder how they got my name and telephone # thou.

Got the same call today.............For sure this is a scam..

A man from this number called and said he wanted to give me over $5,000 because I paid my taxes & was owed a grant.  He knew mine and my husband's names, address, social security numbers and birthdays.  He said I would never have to pay this money back, but he needed an account to transfer it into, or a credit card to put it on.  It sounds fishy to me.

I got the same call...... I waited a day and called back, but there is an answering machine that is picking up.
