I got a call from a Indian lady name ABI PARKER telling me I'm going to receive a grant from the Government for 7,800. and to give Western union 200.00 for a deposit and receive 8,000.00. Now problem is if the U.S. Government is giving out money why isn't the check just mail to us instead of going to Western Union ( is Western Union in on it)?

My husband got a call to day from a indian sounding lady named Kristina Watson saying he would receive a grant for 7800 but he had to take his id and 200.00 to western union also.  Husband ask her why could'nt they send him a cheak, she told him to go the the western union with the money and when they recived the funds he would have to go to 200 independence ave HHH bldg s.w washington dc 20201 to pick up the cheak. At the end of the call he told her that her call was bogus and a scam.  the number that they called from was from 202-580-8384 the call came up unknown caller.  if you gogle the number it will come up that it is from a cell phone .  I think there using western union as a tool to get there money faster.

Be aware of the scam.

Kristina Watson call me today stating the same information that others placed on the website. She said I was receiving grant money that I did not have to pay back in the amount of $7,800 and I had to use it for a good cause Ex School or Morgage. While I was on the phone with her (seemed to good to be true) I looked up the number she gave me and reference number to give to a man 202-580-8384 File# 4388 and saw this was the same information given to others. Once I called her out on it and said her name was on the internet and this was a scam, she immediately disconnected.

Also she stated I was randomly selected by the government due to me paying my bills on time to receive this money. Wow, I hope we all know the government would not just give out money like that.

I just got a call from some guy who told me the same thing: that I had been selected because of my good credit record, paying bills on time, etc. and that I could use this money for whatever I wanted just so long as it wasn't illegal. It sounded really sketchy but then when he told me that I had to put in a $200 deposit I was completely convinced it was bogus. It's just creepy to think that somehow they can get ahold of all my information. I hope people don't get duped by this.

Just received the same call. They did not ask for a deposit but it just seemed sketchy. Said because I had no bankruptcies I was eligible for a government grant. Please do not fall for it. The guy said his name was Oscar Perez. He called from unkown but gave a call back number to call when I get to WU  I asked why not just give me the info. He wouldn't so I searched online.

Just got a call from this. Scam city.... The call back number they gave me was 202-580-8384. Out of the blue I was getting $7800.00! Yay! When she said her name was Stella Adams with a strong Indian accent I knew it was a scam! After being instructed to go to Western Union with $200 and my ID, I politely said goodbye.. After all, the people calling are just trying to earn some meager pay in India, the people employing them should be strung up!

I just got the same call from this numer and the lady who called was Fiona Morris she told me the same thing that a got 7800 just because I have had a good credit and she ask me to go to western union and deposite 225 dls for a security deposite and they will give me back 8025 dls .. Of course I didn't believe it..

ya i just received this call too. Saying because i haven't filled bankruptcy in the last 6 months iv been selected by the government to receive a $7800 grant if i send in a $250 deposit. i thought it was freaking hilarious that a strong accent Indian dude was telling me his name was Adam Smith... yeeeahh  right

I got a call from SAM MASONI, he told me that the government wants to give me a grant of $7800. but I have to go to Western Union to deposit $250 first.  The EMP ID# INF4387 the file# KRY0973 ...IT'S a SCAM!!!

thank goodness my wife checked this  out before i put up this money that I had to scrape up. This would have put us further in the hole. Man, can't wait till this group is caught! Hurting good American families. What a shame?

The same thing has been happening to me. I get either indian woman or man. Amounts change someitmes but always the western union 200.00. They hang up as soon as you tell them they are a hoax. I have also told them shame on them for trying to cheat elderly people out of hard earned money and  that the government wouldnt make calls like that. As the first call I got they wanted my checking account# but now have changed to western union. Can't get them to quit calling. It comes up unavailable but so does some places of employments I have applied at.

I also received a call from ABI PARKER today. I was told to pay $225 and would receive $8025 back in cash from western union. I did file a complaint with the FBI.

I forgot to add that ABI PARKER employee ID # AS8007C my grant confirmation # 77357. The call was from a UNKNOWN caller on my cell.

I got the same call today but when i told the stupid lady that it was a scam she didn't hang up she just straight lied to me and said "it's not a scam" when i said yeah it is a scam she got all smart with me and said "ok it's a scam and i'm just wasting my time here" I just said yeah stop calling me.

I don"t know what everyone is talking about I got my money so hahaha

well this call to get my grant money $7,800.00 and scam me for $2,600 still call them everyday until i get my money told send another $450.00 to get my refund back grant are free do not send any money to anybody scam scam scam lies lies lies

i got a call from a different number, the indian lady told me the same story. that i had been randomly selected by the federal grant program. she said that my grand was for 7800 dollars and also that i had to send 200 dollars from western union. immediately i noticed that this was an scam.
the number she called me from is 3548795868, and she also gave me the call back number which is 2025808384.
