I am on the National Do Not Call List and I have been receiving right-wing propaganda calls from 202-599-8630. The caller ID comes up as aicrsch2012.

This is a "survey" to see if I am in favor of the marriage between ONE woman and ONE man..  I am in favor of this and proud of it.

The same number called me at dinner time and left this message:

"Barack Obama"

I supposed so that will make me angry that I got a call allegedly from a campaign worker
for President Obama.

Well [***] the Republicans. The only way they can win elections is through theft and dirty tricks.

This same number just called me, I am also on the NDCL, so, if the number is not already on my contacts list, I won't answer. I let it go to vm and it was a recording stating that it was a political survey call and that they may call back. Well, I do not care to do any surveys, they need to stop calling. I do not appreciate that I keep getting random calls even tho I've been on the do no call list for as long as I can remember, and I update it frequently to make sure I am still on it. But the call said it was coming from DC. I honestly don't know how else to stop such annoying telemarketers on my cell. It's a privet number to me as far as I am concerned. It's one thing to call on the home phone, but another for the cell. There's no such thing as peace and quiet anymore.

When these calls hit your phone, and you are feeling a bit mischievous, do this. They expect you to answer 'yes' or 'no' or 'repeat.' Use any word except those three. Yup, Un-huh, Okilly Dokilly <--(my personal favorite), or 'oh hell no' 'negatory' or 'yeah right'. I'm not sure what results you'll get, but if it is possible to [***] a computer program, this should do the trick.

I've spent a lot of time developing annoying ways of messing with telemarketers, and even though most calls are computerized these days, the occasional call with a real person on the line makes it all worthwhile. I should write a book, like Tom Mabe did.

I hope they stop bothering people...  It is mockery or may be even worse...  May the Lord Jesus save them before it is too late...

They called me today--SUNDAY!! But the call came in on the phone line that comes w/my cable/internet package, which I don't use (it's cheaper to have the package, even w/o using the phone), don't even have an actual phone. So the # turned up on my TV, but of course I couldn't (& wouldn't) answer it. Too bad I couldn't, though, if the idiot above is correct--I'd have been happy to tell them what I think of their stupid marriage question, even though I despise these calls, especially on Sunday. So much for "christians" respecting their Sabbath.

Poltical calls are not required to adhere to the " Do Not Call List"

I'm also on the NDNC list and quite annoyed about this number's repeated calls to me. This weekend, beginning Friday morning... I've rec'd 5 calls from this number... so far. As I write this, it's Sunday 5:15 PM so I'm probably going to hear from them again this evening. I personally find these calls to be obnoxiously consistent with other Republican campaign strategy bad judgment.  I strongly feel that these calls are abusive of my home phone number and only exacerbate my disdain for Republicans.  Who can easily tolerate this high volume of political survey calls at  home over weekends… especially today which is Sunday!  I called the Illinois Attorney General's Ofc to ask if I can formally complain about them.  I was told that unfortunately, political callers are not subject to NDNC list regulations. So it seems that we are all stuck with these obnoxious home invading pests.

If that is your stance, is is possible for your parents to get a refund for the money they spent on your education? Obviously, the money they spent was wasted.

Please don't try thinking for yourself. Here's a thought. Maybe someone from the Obama camp really did call you to tell you what to think? Don't try to do any more then breathe in, breathe out, repeat. Any more then that...you'll probably get confused.

Calling me about marriage, who cares? Let people live how they want to live.
Been getting calls from these kinda people all week and it's getting a lil aggravating.

The call starts off "do you support Barrack Obama?"  No mater what you say it continues asking what republican candidate you prefer.  Answering sends you into a republican propaganda message.  They start with Barrack so those people that are mad and hang up right away blame the democrats.  What is the next dirty trick the republicans will try?  A holes.  Is this the America our forefathers envisioned?

Got several of these calls, too.  I also am on the do not call registry.  I just look at caller Id and ignore it!  So tired of this nonsense...
