Who is this, they call everyday.  STOP CALLING

I have received 3 calls from this number. However I refused to answer when I see it on my caller ID.  I do wish these type of calls could be stopped immediately.  Too busy for it.  Annoying to say the least.
The number from which the call came from is: 202-607-2763 and gives a company name of AICR.

when you google AICR you see that it is American Institute for Cancer Research

, 202-607-2763 is from cancer research based in Washington, just call back that number, listen to the entire recorded message.follow directions,  to eliminate any future calling.  It takes about 30 days to be off thier calling list. Just call back the number that called you from AICR.  Calls are from volunteer college students.

Just got a call and called them back.  It is the American Institute for Cancer Research.  Follow the entire recorded message. Follow directions to eliminate any future calling. It could take up to 30 days to be off their calling list. Just call back the number that called you from AICR.  Calls are from volunteer college students. Got calls from the American Diabetis Association and followed the recorded message with that one also.  Hasn't called back.

please if you can stop this company from calling me as i emailed them to stop calling me, and that did no good  they keep calling and hanging up because of these phone calls i will never give to them,thank you for any help you can give, don

If you have Comcast, call them and they'll tell you how to block these pain-in-the-[***] calls. I've got 4 numbers blocked now and I've only been doing this for a few days: Disabled Veterans Service; American Cancer Society; Washington DC [?]; and this number AICR.

I suspect other phone carriers will offer you a similar procedure.

Don't call them back. First of all, for most of us, this is a toll call. Secondly, calling them back is just what they want you to do. They want to get your ear so that they have the opportunity to sleaze talk you into making a donation.

That's why telemarketers keep calling and never leave a message. They want to rope you in without giving you the time to think it out carefully. It's a variant of the "this deal won't last" trick.

Received call on 8/31 from 202-607-2763.  Phone rang twice then hangup.  Caller id shows AICR.  Stop calling me!

Get calls w/no message and even on Sunday at 4:30.   This is a scam...

I tried calling them back and following the automated instructions to have my number removed from their database,however, the computer never gets the number correct when entering it. Guess I will have to answer the phone and tell them to stop calling me 3 times a day, every day.

Called my cell phone.  Wound not say anything.  I am on a do not call list.  How do we stop this kind of call.

It's from the American Cancer Research Institute.  I called the number back and they have a nice message that says a bit about what they are trying to accomplish and, also, a way to remove your number from the list.  They said it has to be removed within 30 days, but, they try to remove it within 2-3 days.  You do have to select "1" (tell me more about it) to get to that point though.  It's their fundraising arm calling.

We are receiving 3-4 calls each week and at least 3 times each day including Sat. & Sunday.  They let it ring about 3 times and hand up or if I answer, they do not say anything and hang up.  They leave no message.  Fed up with these annoying calls.
