This is a collection agency West Asset Management.  They were looking for someone who gave them bad info!

Called, three rings and hung up!  No message

This number came up on my caller ID as American Lung Association.  They have also used 202 607 2856 and 866 666 2188. I called West Asset Management (a legit collection agency) and had them do a search on my phone number.  It was not in their system so the call did not come from them.  I returned the call to 202 607 2914 and got a recorded message from the American Lung Association. The menu gives you an option to remove yourself from their call list but you have to enter your phone number to do so.  I don't enter my phone number to automated systems unless I'm sure it is legit (not so in this case), so I just hung up.  Next time they call, I'll answer and tell them what I think about having my sleep interrupted at 8:30 am.

Lisa, if you still monitor this thread, I'd like to ask how you determined that it was West Asset Management back in 2008.
