I just received  a call from Muria with phone number 202-621-5429 and told me the same story that I won $ 7000 grant from the US Gov. and gave a code(aproval number) and another phone number to call Carol Moreny(202-738-4217). When I search it on google I found that both numbers are cell numbers to the same person.Then I called her back and I told her this is a fraud and I will call the FBI, she hung up the phone.Reply!0

I get these calls SEVERAL TIMES A WEEK & sometimes more than once a day..  Once the caller (male) said he was from the US Treasury & that I was to receive 7-8000 THOUSAND Dollars.  He wanted me to give him my bank account number or a card from wal mart or some other store.  he wanted ME to give him MY Card number.  I replied that he could put that $$ on a wal mart card & send it to me & thats when the call Disconnected.  -That was like 3 weeks ago & the calls STILL Keep coming in and I'm getting Real Damn Tired of it.
I call the number back & get a msg saying they arent accepting calls.

If my cell phone provider had any balls, they'd put a STOP to this.

i just got a call from this number and was finally able to answer it.  I spoke to a women she was trying to tell me that I got a grant of some sorts I could not hear her and when she kept talking on top of me I had to tell her to shut up she then told me the same thing and began to cuss me out and making threats to me telling me she was going to cut me up, call me everyday and also try to charge me $220.00. The best part is I have her on a recorded line making threats to me and when I told he that she told me to hang up I told her no and then she hung up lol what a joke

I got a call from this same number at 6:42 in the morning. My number is on the do no call registry but they dont stop calling...HELP!!!

Last year I purchased a phone that has a call-block feature on it, and it's well worth it. This number is my most recent stalker but I've had plenty of others (and I too am on the do-not-call). I blocked this number when it showed up on my caller ID twice yesterday. The call block feature is not perfect, because it still rings once (sort of a truncated ring) -- which it did this morning at 6:52! but at least it doesn't ring and ring and ring. It stinks that you might need to spend money to ward off these bloodsuckers, but I do recommend it. Once I taught myself how to use the feature, it's really easy to block a number (fyi, mine is a Panasonic brand, but there were several to choose from when I researched phones with call block) Good luck!

I got several calls.  I had an education
grant.  This was because of my age
And past teaching experience.

Simply call and enroll.  Tuition
Would be paid.

I said no thank you.

I have had as many as 30 calls in the
past week .

I am on do not call lost.

Help.

I receive:  no one there, 3-5 times a day.

It is impossible to return the silent call.

It is frightening and the number does not
accept return calls.

I get calls from this number on a pretty regular basis. I have added them to my reject list so doesn't ring but I get a notification that I've missed a called from a blocked number. Some days I get up to 3-4 calls!

wow that sounds wild ....don't sound like professional to me, be nice to have a gps tracking where ther calling from....

I just picked it up when this number rang through and said:

"It's done, but now there's blood everywhere".

Again, they call from the US government, I have been selected to received a grant for $7000.00.
Hurray- just the break I been waiting for.......NOT!
SCAM- and I told her to take me off the list, that I am turning them in. SHe just hung up.
(It does say District of Columbia on my caller ID. hmmmm.... :)

I gave my info to a few schools, and this is what happened... calls from several 3rd parties, this being one of them and they are so annoying. I just talked to someone on this number for the first time, she wanted to give me $1000 or something and I told her to take me off her list and she hung up.
MAKE IT STOP.

That is exactly what happened to me.  Got info from a few schools and now I get SCAM calls everyday! Whoever sold that list is such a jerk!!!

I received a call from a guy saying that I was selected to receive $7,000 from some government grant money and gave me a approval code, another number(202-738-1068) to call and to talk with Max William so that I can get the money. The wired thing is that he new my name, address and that I was in school. So I decided to Google the number before calling and found out it was all a fraud so I call and after talking with him he insisted in my bank account info that is when I told him I new it was all a fraud and that I will report him to the FBI so he got mad and started to yell and he said to go right ahead and report him but I was not getting any money and hanged up. My question is how does he know my information.

I received a call from this number on 11/25 from a guy looking for my wife. I asked who this was and he said that he is with the US government and had a grant to discuss with my wife. I tld him that she was not here, and he hung up abruptly.

I received a call from the 202 # from Washington promising me a 7000.00 Grant as soon as the woman started asking me questions I knew it was a scam. I told her that I was on the Do Not Call List and that I would report her if she called again. She said Oh! And hung up. Hopefully that will be the end.

Had numerous calls from this number and it is so irrating as I do not answer it nor will I answer it.  Somehow these spammers should be held accountable for harassment.

a guy called that i could NOT understand and kept saying free $7000 from US government...told him i was not interested but was very persistent about getting free money...

I've gotten several calls from this number. I answered a few months ago and a woman told me I won a grant from the government for $7000 that I could use in any way I wanted. I told her I wasn't interested and the calls stopped. They started calling me again two weeks ago. I answered and a man obviously calling from a call center or some other noisy room said he was from the US government. I said "I know this is a scam. Can you guys quit calling me" and he hung up. I tried to call him back and the number is not working.
