Its a scam. Its a scam to which they ask you to pay for a phony debt and they will charge you until you are out of money.

Getting calls from this number

The call was telling me that I get grant money to pay for my bills. When I would not go along with it the call told me to [***] myself.

I got one today.

Caller ID says Treasury Department. In reality it's just a scam where they claim you owe back taxes.

they are horassing me everyday

Getting calls again from this same number that I recieved calls from last year at this same time.  Caller id says its US Treasury dept M. Blasted them last year so goody I'm going to blast them again!!!

Caller say that there the Irs and they old me money. Also told me that there were no one else there to assist me. Scam Scam

Why can't the stop they freaking tried blocking my phone with some ransom where crap and once I got out of that they call Me non stop like stfu already I'm only 17 years old

The scam is getting bigger.  I was just offered a 10,000 grant because I 1) pay my bills 2) have no criminal record and 3) have not applied for bankruptcy in the last 6 months.  Please I tripped over the dog to answer the phone for this?

Got 2 phone calls in a row that went straight to answering machine, when I received my phone bill there was a 40 cent charge per minute! I know it's only $1.20 but not paying this!

They said I won a grant for x amount if money and said to call back to 2068553095but ai havent applied for nothing is this a scam??

Even if you owe taxes you will be contacted by irs notices in which they will ask yi u for phone number yes.But they will never take a back payment over the phone for yiu have ti mail part of the notices with either a check or payment info. Second , agents always identify themselves down to the extension number. And when in doubt, Google the number. Treasury department only refunds checks or are issued checks. I don't think you Will ever receive a call from them.Internal Revenue Services yes.So definitely a scam

i got this call today saying I would get $7,000 from the treasury if I would call another number.  I knew immediately to was a scam and didn't call that number.  It was a foreigner calling anyway.

It's a scam. Told me I won grant money from the US Treasury Dept. Call ID is DC. They ask for your CC#.

I received a call from this number and caller ID said Treasury Department.  I talked as I was an answering machine and they hung up.  I call the number back and they answered "You have call the Department of Treasury"  LOL  NOT!!!  Not falling for that scam!!   REALLY????  I've paid them enough and now others pretend they are from the Treasury dept and try to STEAL my money.. I DON"T THINK SO.....  SCAM SCAM SCAM...

Received a phone call from 202-622-2000. The lady sounded indian. Could hardly understand her because if the thick Indian accent. Sounded like she had candy in her mouth. Understond I won $7500 then I asked her who is calling me then she hangs up.

Don't know why they would call us from what is called the treasory department??
