Phone call about an immediate need to respond to a criminal lawsuit against me pretty obvious scam.

Phone call from IRS stating there is a lawsuit against me.  You call the number and they answer 'US Treasury'.  How stupid are people to fall for this?

In slow, broken english she says they are the IRS with a lawsuit,  have you or attorney call them....if not, then they wish you good luck!!!

Same - Telling me or my attorney to call back.  Obvious scam.

claiming I owe back taxes.  Gave me a name of Robert Stanford with a serious Indian accent.  I called him on it and he hung up on me.  I called back and got his apparent supervisor.  When I told them they were in luck, as I was an IRS agent, they hung up.

Left voicemail, said their is a criminal lawsuit against me, case number CF93151, This is a serious matter and i should call with the name of my attorney of record  immediately. I should not ignore this call. I had the same call  a few months ago from the same person, different number. That time he told me I owed $1425.63, as if the IRS doesn't always round up! I "accidentally" hung up when I put him on hold while i got my credit card.

I got the identical case number that you have. CF93151. Crazy how different people have the same case number.

I got the same case number. Put a stop to this by saying I worked for the IRS

Keep calling and leaving message threatening that I need to have my attorney call.

Obvious scam. Someone called me with heavy Indian accent about criminal lawsuit against me. I told them "I'm punching a cow right now"

The guy got pissed at me when i told him i do not want to talk to him since it is a scam. Started saying, have I asked you for money? Have I asked you for personal information? ridiculous

tired of receiving calls from this scammer! please apprehend him and make him stop calling and scaring people.  telling that has a case number and wanted immediate response.  if not wishing me good luck... awful person!

It failed to display the name of a person,  or
a company, or an agency.

WE ALWAYS FLATLY REFUSE TO ANSWER ANONYMOUS CALLS.
However we sometimes call back, after a few hours.

This callers appears to be a fraudulent caller,
involved in a very poor attempt to impersonate
an agent of the U.S. Internal Revenue System, in
order to extract information from inattentive
individuals.  BEWARE!

The IRS is now in the free vacation scam business.  I guess people weren't paying them enough money for back taxes.
