It sounded like Apu off of the Simpsons. He has a hard middle eastern accent and an American name.

Yeah I heard the same thing from him, then he told me he was my dad, and was [***] my mom.... Kind of a witless little [***]...

Got a call from this guy who can't speak English I told him I knew he was a fraud and he told me that the sheriff would be at my work in an hour to arrest me and then hung up. Looked up the company and got 8 pages of complaints about the company doing the same thing

This crazy guy thinks we are going to call him back....he must be really crazy and must think we are stupid people!!!  Makes me so angry and then again it makes me laugh that he is so stupid!!  He calls my work number and my cell phone #!!  Please don't call him back he is absolutley a crazy guy trying to scam us here in America!!!  There should be a way to stop these nuts out there!!!

This nut case called me twice looking for someone that I don't know, does not nor ever has lived in our home. He said the person he was looking for had won a lottery (knock, knock, got a brain in your head?)  Collectively, we should all send an email complaint to the FCC and put the word out to ALL family and friends informing them about this scam. The twit can't even speak proper english, that was my first clue of the scam.

I found the main number, I was transferred to "David".  I gave him an earful.  He said he would look into it and bring it to his boss's attention (yeah, right).  When he started to say they have telephone issues and was condescending to me, I said "before you embarass yourself, I've worked 20 years in the telecom industry and I know how the systems should work.

OMG! The same guy just called me. He had my last four of my SSN and my bank account number. Said I owe some company named US Cash Services which I could not find in google. I was freaking out! He also had two of my family members names and said they would be served with me because I listed them as references.

We need to catch these foreigners. They are trying to get us. I am glad I don't have that same bank account anymore, they might try to go in there and take what they claim is theirs. They are using the same number. I was so happy when I googled the number and found this site. WHAT CAN WE DO???

They are calling our cell phone, and stating my husband has received funds from company online for pay day loan. Witch is not allowed in the Military. Due to it is debt. Then when I asked for the company name, address, city and state. This male was refusing to get me but some one else information or not even a company. This male Refused to say any thing but the business name and it's a law firm. Threatening that my husband is going to jail, and the cops are coming. He doesn't even have no American tone of voice. The male could speak English but not that great. I told him to stop calling because it's SCAM !!! The male was really rude with me. I know my husband doesn't have any thing to do with pay day loans.

These people faking like they are a law firm. they calling from a (191)63950000. Now they calling from a (202)6299350> And guess what they guy asked me do I want to F**k him. SMH

A man with accent called said his name was Attorney Tom Reid (I heard lotta calls going on in the back) ... I said before we go any further I am recording this conversation... then he wanted me to verify my last 4 of SS# I told him no... then I asked for his mailing address ... he gave me .. "Thomas K. Crow" .... that's not what he said at first... haha!! then he said Washington, DC .... so I asked what was the rest ... he hung up this number is harassing me at work home and cell how do I stop it!!??!!

Yes they are call my work and cell phone. Why they just call from a (202)481-3310. I dont want to change my number but i guess im going to go head a do so. They are starting to upset me.

The number that came across on my cell phone was 011 20 26299350 which is an egyptian number according to the country code. I get these calls every other month or so. They call my cell... I dont answer then then call my work. These ppl are crazy if they think I'm just going to give them money lol. Very heavy accents with American names. Each time their name changes. Today they wanted my lawyer information saying i was committing a crime if I didn't pay....hilarious. These people are idiots. NEVER PAY ANYTHING WITHOUT having some type of knowledge or correspondence.

I'm a bankruptcy attorney in Chicago.  One of my clients was being harassed by this number so I investigated.  It is NOT LEGITIMATE.  They are using unlawful scare tactics to swindle you for debts you do not owe.

The real Thomas K Crowe is a reputable firm in D.C.  I spoke to one of their attorneys and it seems that the DOJ and FBI can't do much as the fugitives are not on US soil.

My recommendation is A) do not pay them and B) call them back.  Repeatedly.  Ask for their address.  Remember how annoying it is to get unwanted calls?  Well, it works both ways;)  Enjoy your free time!
