I don't appreciate crank calls. You are obviously not with the IRS and if I find you, it will be reported.

got call from this # guy said i am from irs contact me on this # otherwise we gonna have you arrested.

Got a call from this number and the person left a message stating he is from IRS and there is a law suit filed against me and I have to call him right away to avoid any further action. I tried calling the number back and nobody picks up the phone, then I googled the number and found out its a scam!!!!

I got a call from the same and a recorded voice message said that "Adam Smith" is calling and he want me to call back on this number about a law suit filed against me by IRS. When I called from another number, he asked what is my phone number, then I asked him, how can he prove is from IRS, he immediately said, its up to me to believe or not and disconnected the call.....this is a scam don't respond.

got this today  from same number and ADAM SMITH....told me i was going to be arrested....whats the scam? are we supposed to get scared and pay it by card? I dont get it

Scammer -- pretends to be from IRS, "Adam Smith" with a heavy foreign accent!  Hilarious.  Tells you "God Bless You" at end of call.  This guy needs to go to scammer school.

Recorded message from Adam Smith claiming to be from the IRS and claims the IRS has filed a claim against my daughter and if she doesn't respond she will be arrested. Don't believe the scam. Email the IRS at: phishing@irs.gov and report the scam.

I got call from this # and he saidhe from irs I owe irs 3500 and if I pay now he will closed my case unless the I will arrested in  15 min. I went to online checked who called me this is a scammed

Repeating the same story. I got a call today and it scared the hell out of me. Called me and left a message to call back that this is from IRS and don't ignore the call. When I called back first thing they asked that do you have an attorney, I said no. He said you should, because there is a search warrant on your name and there is a lawsuit filed against your name and police will arrest you soon. I asked why and what is the reason and he said this phone call is recorded and there is a 30-page long lawsuit against you. He said once he starts reading it, he won't answer any more questions. Than first thing he says that we have strong evidence against you that you 3500$ to IRS, not paying taxes in last 4 years. I said now that I know the reason my lawyer will call you. I tried calling on the same number after 3 hours from my office number and somebody answered stating that this is IRS. After talking with my tax consultant and lawyer I found that this is a scam call and I did enough research to believe that this is a scam.

Weird female robotic voice left message:  "As soon as you receive this message I need you or your attained attorney of record should return the call. The issue extremely time-sensitive. My phone number is 202comma630comma8943dot (repeated). Don't disregard this message and do return the call.  Now If you don't return the call and I don't hear from your attorney then I wish you a good luck as this situation totally falls on you.

Same as everyone else.  Weird robotic voice claiming some lawsuit.  Reported to the FTC.
