called twice within 15 minutes, first was unknown name then AFL CIO came up on caller ID

Do not call my number again.

I keep getting calls from 202-639-6258.  Caller ID shows AFL-CIO.  They don't leave a message.
I don't answer the phone because I don't know who this is that is calling me.  If it was someone I knew, they would leave a message.
Does anyone know who this number belongs to and what they are calling about?

it is a political survey from a group in washington dc they ask about lcal us house of representatives
races  and whether or not you approve of them and other candidates in national office and the local governors race also ask race age and the call took me 4 min 59 sec after answering all questions they do id themselves at the end of the call all i remember is a wasington dc address

called at 7:07pm, 7:23pm, 7:39pm, 7:54pm, no message left

Calls at least once a day, no message.  I don't pick up on unidentified calls - or those calls I don't want.  One of these days, I may pick up - just to chew them out.

afl/cio is the nationa tade union and convers may different unions from airline pilots to municpal workers.  It's a big political machine that doesn't think any of it's union members can thin for themselves.  So they call everyone day after day brainwashing them into voting for any democrat that is running.  I work for a city and because of a mayoral candidate they endorsed and tied it up pretty with our union name during a contract neogiation the union got absolutely no raise while the other union also neogiating and all non union employees received raises.

Punks keep calling and even though you call the number back to opt out of more calls, guess what? They keep calling!  Sent in complaints and still get these nuisance calls!  They are a political crap group!  They will be cussed out next time they call!

To Everyone receiving these calls from this number- COMPLAIN TO YOUR PHONE COMPANY AND  LAW ENFORCEMENT-THEN JUST MAYBE THEY WILL HAVE TO STOP CALLING!

This company is an affiliate of the AFL/CIO.  Their website is www.workingamerica.org. they are trying to organize Americans to become part of their organization to oppose wealthy Americans and Profitable businesses by banning together for a common cause.  Isn't it ironic that the AFL/CIO is an intrigal part of the problem we now face.  They insisted that members be overpaid, underworked and now receive special elimination from the Obamacare till 2015 as a result of their assistance to the present Administration.  I've reported them to the Ohio Attorney General.  He, however, is a Democrat and I can forget that!

@ Ken. No one wants to hear about your political views. Just let the people know who is calling and talk to a shrink, or call in to Glenn Beck if you want to complain about the current administration

Traced this 202-639-6258 number through the AFL-CIO and the direct line to the AFL-CIO President, Richard L. Trumka is 202-637-5000. It's quite funny, he seems to get very agitated when you call him.

Just got a call from them but didn't answer. Found this site and attempted to call back 202-639-6258 & it generically says leave a meesage. Also tried the 202-637-5000 & got the message that they are only open Monday-Friday 7a-7p, except Holidays. Closed yet you are.calling me on Saturday afternoon?  Hmmm..

Stop calling.  Annoying.

No one wants to hear from a political group pushing their political views in the middle of dinner either!  I like to hear Ken's views.
How did we get on their call list in the first place?  They must be running scared or they wouldn't be harassing people.

Just got a call from this number.  Caller ID said AFL-CIO and I wouldn't answer it.

@OHjenn - I called 202-637-5000 between the hours of 7-7 and spoke to a Ryan. I told him to stop calling me or I will file a lawsuit. No matter that they are a political think tank or lawyers for that matter, they have no business calling and harassing us and any judge here in Cook County, IL would agree.
