Scam saying that you have received a grant and you need to call back told them I did not have a checking account or debit card they said they were sending me cash! Internet says phone number is to a freight company in Illinois same town my husband's employer is in. I know that is not true. So beware of this scam! People call and can not speak correct English and feed you some crap like this. These people should be severely prosecuted to the laws fullest extent they pray on so many people that believe their garbage.

I received this scam and I could barely understand them-they knew all this informationa bout me where I live and so on-I eventually hung up

These half English people called me saying I was choose for a Gov. Grant of $7,000 and to go to Western Union and wait for a call from a higher authority. When I receive the call to send $240.00 for a deposit. They will then send me my deposit money back and the $7,000. Who in the hell do these people they are. Plople work to hard for there money to give it away like that........But I feel sorry for some pelple that they fall for there scam!

Ya i just got the call too and didn't know if it was true or not but when they mentioned me sending them $240 I knew it was a scam. How do they get our info. & why hasn't anything been done about it? These people have no shame in what they are doing and the damage they cause people who actually send the money. To tell the truth they had me for a minute, up until I called back and the second person I spoke to could not speak proper English either. Then what really threw me off was the $240 part. Something needs to be done especially since they go around saying they are calling on behalf of the US government.

I got this call too. I was at my daughter's school when they tried to feed me this crap. I couldnt believe the gall.

I just received the first call and googled the number, kept having to ask him to repeat himself because he couldn't pronounce the script he was reading.

yes,i am a victim to i just lost out on my money today for the same scam we need to find out how we go about suing them and have them arrested for scamming people if anyone find out how can we take this further please comment and let me know.

just recieved this call saying that my crimnal record was clean and I had been picked to to recieve $7500 that i dont have to payback who they think I am. This is a scam they call from and unknown number and give you this 2026405461 number to call and none of them speak english

Same as above except i called them back and told them that i have contacted the U.S. Grant department and that they have no record of nothing like this going on to any of the U.S. residence and that they launched an investigation with the F.B.I. into there company

I received this call and did not check it out until I gave my banking information.  I knew that is felt wrong, yet I bought into this whole thing.  I was told I would have to go to a western union store and then call back of where to send them 240 dollars cash in order to get the 7,500 grant money.  I was also told that this was a one time thing and a once in a life time event.  It goes to show you the kind of world we live in.

Just got a call from a unknown # telling me that I can receive a once in a lifetime grant for $7500 tax free.
All I need to do is call 202 640 5461 and give them more information and they would send the money to a western union... Wow, for one, I couldn't understand every other word he was saying, and two,  
we live in the U.S. - who in the hell would just give a person $ 7500.00 tax free

The scammer is Ranjeet Singh, the number is a Washington DC number, but the location the money is sent to is INDIA. They have you western union the fee money, and claim there are taxes that prevent the grant from coming through, trying to get you to send more money.

GET THE WORD OUT.

They call me will all my information what the hell, saying I have a grant of $7500 from Khaleel Khaleel from Washington DC this is [***]... Stop this scam

Guys, Idk about you but I convinced them that I would send $500 to receive the $7500 if they sent me $250 first. I an american express credit card for $47.36 on it.

I guess I won out in the end anyway.

I received a call from this number. It's a scam. They told me that I was selected to receive 7500.00 from government grant. I just have to pay 249.00 and send it thru Western Union for them and then I can receive my money. It's a scam, do not send anything.

Same thing haapened today to my wife and she was so happy and make fun of me that she will get the 75000 and will give me nothing, i lough till the end of the day and we discovered its frowd, SOO BE CAREFUL

Told me I had a grant in 7500 to send them $275 they send me the money and refund my $275. Could not speak english well even gave me a grant number of ME 505. Please be weary of these folks at 202-640-5461
