got about 4 calls from this AUTOMATED message! says its a public survey....think it's a political msg;
I  am registered to Do Not Call...why do I get these annoying calls??

I got a call from this number, the message said it was a survey to bring a pipe line into the United States from Canada, and that id would generate 20 thousand jobs for America, and that they needed a permit from Washington, they asked me if I agree with the job creation idea, I said NO. The message then asked me if I wanted more information about the pipeline, and I said YES, the asked was I at least 50 years old, I said yes. After receiving this message, I felt this survey was a trick, to get a yes reply, I also believe the survey is a trick to get a response they are seeking. I also believe this is a political deception. I will follow up with the State Dept, and the Attorney General.

They have called 2x. i answered the first time thinking it may be a friend from the DC area on their cell. I hung up as soon as I realized it was a robo call. they called again today and left a brief message re "gas prices being high". What the heck does this mean????

This was a robo-call that identified the organization as "Community Energy Alliance." It purported to be a "survey" asking me about the Tar Sands Keystone XL pipeline and extolling its virtues (dishonestly). When it asked if I supported it, I clearly and loudly said NO. It then asked if I wanted more info and I clearly and loudly said NO (I've read the pros and cons). Then it asked 2 supposed demographic questions (Are you male? Are you under 50?) to both of which I replied NO. As it finished the call, it thanked me for my SUPPORT!!! and said it would communicate my SUPPORT!!! to the State Department. I don't support their deceit, dishonesty and chicanery and I especially don't appreciate them communicating my "support" to a federal agency.

Robo call identified as "Community Energy Alliance" conducting a "survey" to bring a pipeline from Canada to Texas.  In actuality it wasn't a true survey, it was easy to tell which answers they wanted. The first question: "Do you agree that gasoline prices are too high?"  I answered "No" to all the questions, yet the call ended with "thank you for your support".

I got a call and from this number and I thought it was strange I knew it wasn't my dad or stepmom I have all of their numbers. I thought it might have been a friend of theres. When I heard survey I hung up immediately.

we keep getting calls from this #  they leave no message ...we're on the do not call list...we shouldn't be getting calls as such!

Calls continuously but leaves no message

They can make these calls because they are not selling things.  Politcal calls, surveys and charities are exempt from the Do Not Call List.  The only way to get this to change is by changing the laws.  I have asked my legislators about this.  This is a DNCL loophole.  And if they are offering free info, they can call too.  As long as they are not soliciting a sale at that point but giving info on if you are interested in learning more about X please call XXX-XXX-XXXX, then they can call.
