Scam do not take the call they claim you have been randomly selected for 9000 dollar federal grant do not trust them Please don't they talk good

I got a call about me being granted 9000 dollars from the IRS.And they have been giving out grants since 2000. They wanted me to go Walmart Western Union why they are on the phone and send 250 dollars for a activation fee to get the 9000 dollars. It sounds like a scam.

Message some one called me cliaming to be from the federal grants department and said the government wanted to give me $9,000,00 dollars but said That I had to pay a one time processing fee in the amount of $250.00 d0llars , using the phone# 202-643-7344 . Is this a scam.

YES!!!   Calls come from India or Pakistan - there is no grant.

Yes it's scam they take from me $550 first $250 and I have to buy $250 i tone's card from Walmart and after they ask me for $900 more because if I wanted the $9000 but I told them I don't have $900 so they say OK just give me $300 only and we give you $3000 and after you receive the $3000 give me another $600 and we five you the $6000 so I was don't have $900  only have $300 after ingive them the $250  and I give them the $300 it's 3 card iTunes from Walmart $100 each  and they say after all that we sorry we can give you the money because you have to pay $600 more when you have the money call back scam M F
