Some guy who couldn't speak English very well was saying, "Your computer downloaded a virus...yada, yada, yada..."  I played along for a little bit while he asked what was on the left side of my keyboard and the right side.  I couldn't understand very well what he was asking and then he hung up.  Switchboard.com says this is an invalid number.

Just received another call from this unknown number...did not answer it, no message left..tired of these calls!!!

Probably same guy that called me.  I was at home today to answer when the number showed on my caller ID.  Supposedly there is an IP problem in my computer and he mentioned Windows.  He then told me that I needed to be at my computer so he could "correct" the problem.  When I told him I would look into it myself, he then said it was actually Microsoft.  He insisted he had to fix this and that he had my CL secured number.  I asked for his name - Kevin Foster (strange name for a person that couldn't speak English very well) and for the name of the company he worked for.  Oddly enough, there was quite a bit of static when he told me the company name.  When I suggested the static was not an accident, the static disappeared and he SPELLED the company name, Performance Mechanics.  Have since Googled it and yes, it is a scam.  At this point I requested that I be taken off the calling list and I was told NO.  I requested again, and again told NO.  Call ended when I hung up.

I ha e been harassed by this phone number for 3 to 4 months. I have answered these calls probably 8 times with different reasons for their call. This last call was 11/21/15 and he told me he was calling from Microsoft about my computer and asked for my name. I said you called me and should know the  name of the person you are calling. He said no you called me. I basically told him where to shove it and please remove me from your calling list for the 8th time. Very frustrated with these calls. They deserve to be casterated!!!

He just called me and said there was something wrong with my computer. I asked who are you calling and he said "you" I was already aware of this scam so I yelled at him and told him (there's nothing wrong with my computer)!! Also told him to take my name of his list. He yelled bac and said just listen to me... I said take my name off the list or I'll call the cops... and hung up.

Dummies just called me.  Said they were from Microsoft and my computer had a virus.  Told them I was busy and give me his number so I could call back later.  Just forwarded the 202  number to another blocked number in my phone.   Let one scammer call another!

was just called. I never answer but they try and try using spoof numbers; one after another. if you don't want to be called again and have your number sold to another boiler room operation:

This guy called me on Thanksgiving day. Probably om Magicjake.

We just got the same call, 6pm Thanksgiving night.  When confronted the man said some pretty inappropriate obscene things.

First call blocked with CPR CallBlocker.

Called claiming to be Microsoft and calling to remove a virus.....  He didn't like it when I informed him that I'm a Microsoft employee, too ;)

Said he was with a garbled name. Very difficult to understand due to heavy accent.  Have been calling me for about a month. I told him it was a scam and to leave me alone. Said my computer had a virus. Reacted badly when I said, "No it doesn't and don't call here again." I think he is the same person who calls me from 646-810-6453 with the same spiel.

Keeps calling.  As soon as I say put me on your no call list, hangs up.
Also when I say I will never have him touch my computer he hangs up.

Just had another call, caller ID was District of Columbia.. Went along with him and looked at my keyboard....yada yada yada. Said I didn't see the Microsoft logo. Why? Using a MAC. Told me to pull up Safari. Told him I didn't use Safari... Then he started telling me what he was going to do to me...Mess me up real bad, F*%^ me and some other stuff I couldn't understand because of his accent.

As others have written, the caller speaks with a heavy accent and tells me that my computer has a virus and microsoft windows technicians are trying to help me. Then I told him I use a mac, no windows, and please put me on the do not call list.

I will have to try that!

Yup, could hardly understand caller's concern that my Microsoft needed fixing, since I have a mac.....calling it a fishing scam.

I got that same call yesterday, he told me my computer had a yellow warning or something. I told the idiot what I thought and reported it to my state's A.G office. They told me that they had just received a complaint about the same number only it was scrambled
