This was a robocall from someone saying they were the IRS and they are filing a lawsuit against me. I am to call them immediately at the above number. It was a robocall with a computer generated voice. Caller id says unknown name.
If true they can call my cpa. What a crock.

Same as the other report listed. Computer generated voice that says the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and to call immediately. This is some [***] and this company needs a lawsuit filed against them.

Same thing. I called back from my cell phone. The call was simply answered by someone who you could not understand saying "hello". She tried to say it was a recorded line and you needed to answer honestly. Lots of noise in the background. I told her I couldn't understand her and she just hung up! I wasn't about to give any information to them.

I got the same call. When I called the number, first I got a busy signal - odd for the IRS… And then I called back, and a man with a garbled voice kept repeating "hello" to me… And then another person came on apparently on an accidentally "patched-in" line with a female voice and said "why are you scamming people like this?" This is no doubt a fraud!

This number call me and said the i_r_s is filing a lawsuit against me. My CPA would be a bit surprised by that. What a joke.

Wish I was rich, I would file a lawsuit against them.

I also got a call saying it was the irs I never ever answer my phone and only listen to messages once in a blue moon.if your name isn't on my call list then don't call me,

"IRS filing lawsuit against me and to call back at this number"

Basically the same as all the others, saying they are from the IRS and going to file a lawsuit against me.

They called me from 202-657-4430 on Saturday, July 25, 2015 around 11:00 a.m. and left a fairly professional sounding voicemail message (white female, no accent) saying she was calling from the IRS and they were suing me.  I needed to call back right away to deal with this.
I am in a personal bankruptcy right now, and I do have an IRS tax lien.  However, in a bankruptcy situation, even the IRS has to come in to BK court on a notice of motion and motion seeking to lift the automatic stay, and proceed.  However, IRS does not sue people; they simply levy on your assets.  I already had my creditors' meeting and the BK trustee made a no-assets finding.
I am a longterm diabetic on both insulin and pills, no health insurance and VERY low income; I cannot afford to take most of my prescriptions and my health is failing rapidly.
While I was able to see through this scam pretty quickly, I can easily see an elderly person, immigrant, extremely young person, or someone generally with less education and/or life experience falling for this thing.  I hope the IRS takes action against them!

Senior and I don't have to file taxes because I am on Social Security and considered low income.

Received a robo call message. I was having a law suit filed against me and that I need to call to see what information they have on this.

I recieved an IRS call as well like 30 minutes ago ftom (202)657-4430. It was automated voicemail. Yes i have student loans and financial issues so tight now im panicked. I called my student loans and they didnt say anything about being sued. So im assuming after reading all theses messeges, that everythibg is fine.

I did not call back instead I looked up to see if it was ligit  and saw this info!!!!!
It is exactly what I thought  a SCAM!!!

Same as everyone else;  caller said they were the Internal Revenue Service and were filing a lawsuit against me.  Left this number 202-657-4430 and said I should call back immediately.  I have gone to the Federal Communications Commission website and reported this number and everyone else should do the same!  Google it:  Federal Communications Commission and make a complaint.  It's a pain in the butt but, if more people made complaints, this wouldn't be happening.  Speak out!  Be heard!!  Take action!!!

PS  To my knowledge, the IRS does not call people.  They'll send you a threatening letter or garnish your wages, but they won't call you.

I got the same message on my machine and when I call the number is invalid.
