This person is a SCAM artist preying on people!
He claims to be from the IRS Federal Grant Dept
Saying that you qualify for a $6000 taxation grant
All you have to do is Western Union $199 to yourself, then call him with the transaction number and they will immediatly send you the $6000 and you can then claim your $199!
His phone number comes accross as unavailable, but I have searched the number and it belongs to a Cell Phone
If you give him that transaction number he will then claim the money for himself and you will be out your CASH!
He has a heavy Asian accent during the first call
He talks fast like an old used car salesman and trys to convince you that this is real. then he has his "supervisor" call you back on the phone, which is actually him talking more slowly and deliberatly so that you think that he is another person, but I assure you that it is the same person. He asks how far you are from the nearest Western Union and how long it will take you to get there. He also asks you what kind of ID you will be using to pick up your money.

He concerns me the most because he knows my full name, address and of course phone number as he called me!

According to the IRS this is a scam and I was advised to contact the district attorneys office. But they only take the complaint, since I did not fall for the scam, I am not a victim so they will take no action!

I just recieved the same phn call. The exact conversation. It sounded too good to be true.

its been over a month now! he told me since i pay my taxes on time the government is rewarding my 6000. its full of crap.

I just got off the phone with what sounds exactly like this but the phone number was 202-657-5402 he said that if I wire him 399.00 he will have an officer deliver a grant for 6000.00 to my door in the morning. I am in Knoxville TN.
