I don't know who this is

He said his name was mike johnson they first called me from a texas number then had me call this number with a control machine number whatever that is idn but if it helps with the name maybe someone eles heard this name also

Also received an call from this number saying I qualified for $10,200 gov. grant money. They wanted my bank info to send me the money. something very fishy!

They are such a scam. I cought them and told them that im calling the police and they said thats not needed but they were trying to hack into my bank account. No thanks! Wierd part is how did he get my information without me giving it to him?!? Right there sketched me out!

I just got a call from this number and the story I was given was that I had won a grant for being a  model citizen for the amount of $9,000.00.

Washington, DC to call to verify that I got a $9000 grant I found that very hard to believe and think it is a scam nobody gets $909,000 without something unless they're trying to steal your money and steal your identity

He was a verifier from the Treasury Dept.  I was eligible for a grant.  He and his supervisor had a strong Indian accent.  Became agitated when I asked if I could use the grant money for english lessons for him.

Caller identifies herself as Vicky Brown and that she is going to serve me with papers. That is pretty funny since she is calling from Washington DC.Threatened to show up at my residence or job site. I did not respond to the message. Will be reporting to the authorities

Has called me three times now, was extremely upset and cursed at me when I called his bluff, he called me a [***]. Became even more agitated when I told told him to come knock on my front door if he though I was a [***] and I'd show him how big of a [***] I was!!!!

Saying they are US FEDERAL GOV't.

Have called many times. Harassing now.  Says they are US FEDERAL GOVT. WHY CANT MY GOVT STOP THIS ?

He said his name was David Johnson from the US Federal government. I couldn't really understand him. He could not speak English very good. I think he was going to try to get my info. I just kept saying I don't understand you. He just hung up.

Couldn't understand him very well. Couldn't even gather what his name was but he said he was from the US government and that I qualified to receive $9000 based off some sort of tax information. I called him out for being a scam and hung up

He said his name was Peter Johnson from Human Resources in Washington, DC. He said I was receiving a private grant to help pay off student loans.

Dude just called me now -.- I figured I look up the number because it was from Washington and now I see that it's a scam. Another stupid thing is that I'm 16! How he hell would I be eligible for grant money?

Just had a phone call from this number.  Said I was eligible for a grant of $9,200.  Started asking me to verify my basic information (name, address, age).  When I told him that my father worked for the government as well and that he wanted their information and stated that they most definitely did not work for the government, the caller got agitated and insisted that he did work for the government.  Which is a complete lie.  I ended up telling him I would be reporting him and hung up.  He called back 2 more times which I did not answer.  Complete scam people. Do not fall for this.

Did not answer the phone number went to your guyses website and read all the the comments about how it was a scam. Then I blocked the number. I'm tired of these people calling when I'm on the no call list.

caller said they were from the federal grants department and had a $9500 grant for me that I would never have to pay back

Just received a call from this number.  They were a part of the "Health and Human Services Department" in my version of the story.  $9200 grant, doesn't have to be repaid and no taxes.  While they were talking (very, very hard to understand), I Googled the number and saw this.  They continued on about how I was selected to receive this grant because I had not declared bankruptcy and paid my bills on time.  Said I could use this money to repay student loans or by a car, whatever I wanted, and then were about to transfer me to an Account Manager when I said I was not interested.  Was waiting for arguing but heard the pitch and said no and they just ended the call with "Okay, have a blessed day."
