got a call from these people saying that i would recieve 7500 in grant money.  I had been applying for grants so i thought this was a legitimate business calling me back to verify.  but then when i ask to speak to someone that could speak english a little clearer because i could not understand what they were saying, they hung up on me.  i called back and the number went to voice mail.  i called again and the line was busy.  I found out that this number isnt even a land line....its someones cell phone number.  just be careful people.

they just called me i think its a scam....we called the number back and it did the same thing.

its a fruad they want you to send money to the philiipines. to irene mandap its not a goverment grant if they want you to sen money to another country

I received a call from this number.  I thought it was strange I would get a government grant from a caller whose English was probably his second language, but I continued to listen.  They asked if I wanted to receive my grant money through my bank account, credit card or western union.  I chose western union and was given this number to call back.  There was no answer.  I feel foolish that I did verify my street number.  The caller had my full name, city, state and zip code. I think it is a scam.

my friend got a phone call from this number about a $7500 grant. with high hopes he believed it and started to pursue their offer. they asked him to deposit approx $289 in a bank account and then he would get the money. i had him call the number back so i could hear what they were saying. the lady had a strong accent and when he asked her to explain the process again (so i could hear) she got really rude and said "i explained it already a bunch of times." i quickly googled the number and this came up. i got on the phone and told her i was a lawyer and she quickly hung up the phone.  BEWARE

and only 1700 people have been picked to get this money

i got this call saying I got 7500 in grant money coming to me.  call this number so they can tell me how to get the money . when I called the number there was no answer. so I get a call back 10 minutes later same person . say that they are from the federal dept. I said sorry I googled your number its ascam and don't call back .they hung up .

I just got a call from these people yesterday and they said I was choose for a grant of $7,500 and to call this other number to give the manger my secret code and then they would lease the money to western union at wal mart. Well needless to say I called them today and the lady answered the phone and said they was closing to call them back tomorrow at 10:00 and I started getting considered about it and typed this number in google and this popped up, so YES I think it is a SCAM.... So BEWARE people!!!!!! I freaking out because they have some of my information... I believed it at first because I just changed my number and nobody but close relatives knew this number and then I get a call from them so I figured it was legit, and I have been applying for school and finacial aid so I figured it was somebody calling me back about that but I think it is just a scam now. Thanks for posting stuff about this place because I was going to call them back tomorrow and then go and try to get the money.

My wife just got the same call. I believe that it's a scam. These "people" need to get a job instead of ripping people off that are on fixed incomes. 202-657-6938.  LEAVE PEOPLE THE HELL ALONE.

Yeah, this is obviously a scam, they asked for a 290$ "Security Deposit" that supposedly will get refunded in order to get a 7500 'once in a lifetime grant from the government.
