this is such a scam.  they are inplying that they are with the US Treasury Dept and have money for you, all you have to do is give them your cc# or bank acct number. I told them I was reporting them to the FBI

3 calls yesterday. I didn't answer, no message left. I answered today to a female with a thick Indian accent saying I was "randomly selected by U.S. Treasury" to receive $8400. I stated I was not interested and asked to be removed from database.

They have called me three times today. They left no message. Back in the past, I had this same call but the number never showed up. It just showed 0000. I answered to see who it was and it was an Indian woman with a thick accent as well and said the same thing. I said, "oh really? Well I'm unable to talk at this time l, is there anyway I can get ahold of you?" She hung up. I think its the same people but decided to have a callback number. It is really annoying.

I have just gotten the 3 call from this number today. But when I answer, there's no one there.

They have been calling me since yesterday throughout the whole day. Annoying. No messages left.

Caller Id listed them as District of Columbia. The guy that called with a heavy Indian accent pronounced my name wrong several times. When I asked him what he was selling he responded, "I want to fu*k you in your pus*y".
Most scammers are not so rude and vulgar. Definitely stay away from this loser!

We got the same call today from a man who had a heavy Indian accent also.  I pressed him for a number we could call back and he avoided my question several times and finally gave me the number 202 623 2184 and told me I would be speaking to Joan Carter who was the Federal Attorney General for the Fed Treasury Dept.?????  Joan Carter???  really?  (He originally said he was from the Federal Bank) and when he hung up he said you have been speaking to Mr Johnson....another joke! I know a lot of Scandinavians and none of them have an Indian accent!

just got a call from this number. I have the call block feature on my phone, absolutely wonderful. I can block the number. Yeah for me. Tried calling the scammers. A recording comes on saying "all circuits are busy" which is a lie. Good luck scammers, nothing good will happen for you. Right, US banks?

Called again today.  This makes the 5th call from these people and I keep asking them to take me off their list and told them I was reporting them to the FTC and FBI

I am not very good at looking things up and it took me all day.... OK I got a call form the District of Columbia and the man said he was Lucas Lee  fed Id number 50k9536  and he was calling on behalf of the federal government and they want to give me a one time grant that I never applied for but they pick me cause I paid my bills on time the last 6 months and I don't get into trouble and I have not filed bankruptcy on the last 6 months. I told him I thought this was a scam he said no he could prove to me it wasn't a scam he gave me his name I'd number and the address 200 southwest independence ave Washington no zip and he gave the account officers name Monica Lorie and her number is 2024703953  so I called her and we talked I am old her I felt this maybe a scam because the gov don't give you money you don't have to pay back and don't have to pay taxes on. She said I give you 100 people guarantee this is real and all I had to do was go to speedway and get a Green dot money pack reloadable card and put a one time fee of 215.00 dollars and she will load my grant money on my card while I am on the phone... I am old her I had to looking to this she said that fine we can do this today or Monday after I check them out. Now before anything was said about the fee the man asked if I had a prepaid card I could have the money loaded on and at that time I have an old card that has nothing on it and I gave them that card number I know I'm dumb I shouldnt have but I am canceling the card after I'm done here and that women is waiting on me to call her back with my money for the fee. I am calling the police too

She call me again and again since yesterday she said I have some money for and she is do rude she dnt how to talk m just feed up from her

I told the caller in not nice language to stop calling me.   The moron actually called back and told me to watch my language.

I got this call today (Several times).  I answered the first time and a man with a strong accent was on the phone.  I heard, US Treasury.  I asked him which office is he out of and he stumbled a bit then hung up.  Since then I have received 2 more calls from this number today.  Sheesh.....  maybe he has an answer to my question now.  LOL
