A man stating federal government chose 300 thousand people to recive large cash transfer

I receive calls daily from this number at least 4-5 times a day everyday. I do not know anyone in Washington, DC.

Calls and hangs up all the time and I'm on the do not call reg.

Caller identified himself as Mr. Zon Kadro (spelling?)  He had a very heavy Indian accent.  Said he was calling from "Department of Treasury" in Washington, DC stating that I am the recipient of "Eight Towsan Six hundred dollar."  He needed only for me to verify my full name and address for me to get the money.  I told him, "thanks, but no thanks" and hung up.  The background noise sounded like there were a LOT of other people on the phone, too.

Indian man stating that I was to receive a large sum of money from the Treasury Department. In order to receive the funds I needed to provide him with verification of my name and address. When I told him to provide me with a number and name of a person that I could contact with the Treasury Department he immediately hung up or was disconnected by his supervisor .
