he says his name is jerry watson and he is the finance manager at the government grant agency and i am awarded 5000 dollars what did he tell you??

I recieved a call at my place of employment (215)898-9133 today from a foreign speaking man who advised me that the Government would like to give me $5,000. He suggested that I call someone named Christy and give her grant #0835 to have funds transferred to my checking account. Of course, I know that the government doesn't operate this way, so I'm reporting this scam.

This indian man called from #12532327516 and told me his name was Andrew Smith, and that had been awarded 7,000 dollars in federal government grant money and that i did not have to pay it back. He asked me for my bank account information, and told me that in order to get my *free money* i had to take a code down and call a separate number, which was his "manager" christy woods, at tel # 202-684-3503, and tell her the code he gave me, and she would instruct me as to how to get my money. This andrew smith also said he worked for the United States Treasury.

OMG. What a scam. I also received a phone call from a man with a strong accent, (which i could not understand a word), that i was chosen to receive a free 7000 grant. Did not have to pay for it back and it was not going to be taxed. Of course i was skeptic, who gives money away. This man was calling from phone# 16613474439 and gave me a confirmation # OP1053. Told me to call the washington grant government money at 2022415427 and that they will explain everything. A Christy Woods answered my call, she explained about the grant but i must go to a Western Union deposit $190.00 in order to collect the money. She says call  first so she can guide me thru the process. Yeah right, I am glad i look in this website. This is ridiculus. The government need to crack on this scaming sooner than they think.
