Called twice today. I called the number back and got a message stating that they were calling for my opinion. Gee....just when I thought no one cared!!! LOL!

This number keeps calling my friend, and it's really creeping us out. It's like... constant, and they won't stop.

They called my house 3 times and don't leave a message. I am not calling them back. There crazy. Thank God for caller ID

Call from 202-686-9742, answered and they said it was a survey about retirement and said it would take approximately 10-12mins long.  Asked if I worked full/part time and for whom and then the survey was over.  Would like to know who they are.

If you want to answer a right wing, biased survey, answer this call.

The phone number belongs to National Research, Inc., a conservative political polling firm in Washington DC.  It is run by Adam Geller, who has worked for such notable politicians as Virginia's George Allen, disgraced former governor and losing senatorial candidate, and Congressman Vito Fossella, who was arrested on a DUI in Washington while on the way to meet with his mistress and their child.  Geller has also represented the very conservative "Club for Growth" which, among other activities, monitors and slimes moderate Republicans.

National Research has earned praise over the past several cycles for accuracy, and more importantly, their clients’ success, even in “bad” Republican years. I got a call from this number that was very strange which is why I Googled it and found this site. They left a message of a male voice talking loudly in the background and another male voice talking in almost a whisper that I couldn't make out due to the other loud voice. I listened to it several times and it was just really creepy but I can't figure out what he is saying. It's so creepy, I saved the recording and I'm going to file a report with the police. Don't know if it will do any good, but maybe they can cancel out the background to figure out what this creep is saying. It almost sounds like a threat.

I received 2 missed called from this # on 3/11 & 3/12 @ 9pm and 7pm respectively.  I plan to give this group a piece of my mine when I ever answer this call.  I'm uncertain how they received my cell # as it's not even a DC, MD, or VA #.  I'm pretty PO right now.

202-686-9742 is National Research.  They call everyday.  One of them identified themselves as Laura Peck.

Did you actually answer questions?  Your own post is clearly heavily biased . . . you mention the notable politicians, but none of the other very well known corporate clients.  This is a ridiculous post.

You are all to paranoid. They just called me for a survey, I told them I had no time and to remove me from their call list, they said ok, sorry for the inconvenience. So it's simple, answer the phone stop being paranoid and be honest tell them don't call me again. Easy

Just wish they would answer when they call and I would give the something to rsrch. I hate getting them all times of the day and night

I do not answer call I don't recognize the number and no message left.

I've had them call the last 4 nights around the same time every evening. This is a cell phone they are calling, I'd like to use my minutes for something of my interest. I don't answer and they leave no message

calling on a SUNDAY afternoon ! Are you kidding me ....... we are on the DNC List also ........why even bother going on that list !

I got a strange message from them as well. Mine was a woman talking saying something like: "... then I heard them arguing. And I thought I'm not going to put my nightgown on, so I went downstairs and knocked on their door and they didn't answer but got quiet." Quite surreal

Who the hell is calling me from this number.
They call five or six times a day.
They even called last night at 8:45 and woke me up.

What a wonderful company National Research is!!!!  I love to do their surveys because I know it will help make America a better place.  They are one of the best!
