I received a message from Amber Knight saying she has paperwork that she needs to discuss on my  machine. I have received several  messages from different people. I look up the phone number and it is on the east coast. I call this number went to machine and with no name of a company. They do not use my name which tells me that this is a call to see who will answer their calls.

Same situation and it's definitely a scam. On another site to report these types of numbers, a person said they called back and were asked for a bank account number in order to withdraw money on a monthly basis to pay a debt. I'm reporting the number to the FCC, FBI, and my local attorney general.

said they had some documents to finish.  Don't know who they are.

Same complaint as the others on this cite.  Multiple phone calls from multiple people re: "paperwork" that concerns me directly.  Another messages cites there is "critical paperwork" and the caller wants to give me the "opportunity to provide a statement."  They assure me it is about "preliminary paperwork" and "would like to help."  Made me worry it was the IRS because it occurred around tax time but the IRS would be very up front about who they are and why they are calling.

I get calls from this number every day and it comes up either Virginia or District of Columbia. When there is a message, I get the same thing as everyone above. Most of the time it's a message with a man's voice that has been cut off mid word. Getting awfully tired of it!

202 is a DC area code and either seems to be a scammer or someone trying to collect a bill?

I am CONSTANTLY having them call me on my cell phone. I have learned that the number is a mobile phone from a Level 3 Communications, LLC. Believe them to be spammers trying to get my information and will no longer answer phone calls from this number.

I got the same call as abouve that they needed to contact me regaurding conflicting paperwork and I need to contact them before she "April" makes her final recomendations, because I recently filed my taxesI too tought it may have been related. I called back and a Mr. Watts answered saying who he was but not where he ws calling from or what the nature of the call was about. The IRS does not play those type of games. Told him wrong number and I hope that that was recorded for customer service.
