Caller claims to be IRS, "...about to file a lawsuit against you. For info, call 202-697-9926." That is, they ask you to call back to the same number. Obviously a fraud. Checking this and other sites; these calls are coming from many 202 numbers.

Recording/call from this number saying "IRS has been trying to reach you...lawsuit against you..." and asks to call their department at ..." which happens to be the same number from which the robocall came. They don't say whom they are trying to reach by name so if you don't live alone...for whom is the call intended? Being anxious, I tried to call back from my cell and got a busy. Then decided to google the phone number and found Rick's comments which validated my original thinking before I let anxiety make me question myself.

Called claiming to be IRS and threatening there is a law suit against called party. Message left gives a phone number to call back.

Same as all comments below.  Didn't call back. Just googled the number and immediately found this website.  Thanks!
