Called and said "You are being sued by the IRS" sounds completely bogus

received the message twice today but from different caller id # but telling me to call 202-738-1233--I know i have no irs issues--I will call local PD tomorrow to report this

Got a call from (875) 193 8644 telling me to call (202) 738-1233/ IRS. They were filing suit against me. I did not call. I reported it to the IRS.

Received at 11:24 today call telling us we would be sued by the IRS and to call 202-738-1233. No issues with IRS. Will report.

Got a message on my answering machine telling me the IRS was going to sue, and that I should call  202-738-1233, immediately.   I have no problems with IRS and believe this is a scam.  My caller id show:  Tennessee  865-593-8644

keep getting a call from this number 202 738 1233 will report to police and irs no problem with irs.

I also received a call from someone informing me the IRS was suing me. I called the number and after I told the operator my business number, he hung up

I have gotten repeated calls from this number saying they are the IRS and that they are preparing to file suit against me. I called back and got a very heavily accented voice.  I told him I knew this was a false number, that the IRS doesn't work this way. He said No No No you are very very wrong. . .many times.  He said "You very beautiful lady" You good law abiding citizen, you wonderful lady. . .I said You'd better get your act together and stop making these calls. I'm not giving you any information and I am going to report you as well.
Do't know how to make it stop though. . .

Got a call from # 436-652-6632 caller id Said was being sued by the Irs but need ti call 202-738-1233 as far as I know the IRS would know my name and most likely would inform me by usa mail, I believe this call is a scam.  

Called at 7:00 AM with same message.  IRS is suing you.  Final notice. Not the first time they have called at this early hour.  Caller ID says "unavailable".  Will report to IRS.

Received call from 875-293-8444 to immediately call 202-738-1233 for I am being sued by the IRS.  There is no 875 area code. This was a scam call.

received 'urgent' message that this was the last notification i'd receive or the IRS would submit a lawsuit.  i have no issues with the IRS.  when the 2027381233 number was called, i asked who it was, she said 'Washington DC'.  I asked to speak to a supervisor.  She said, 'You can tell me as I am a supervisor'.  I told her i would report this number to the PD as fraudulent as i have no issues with the IRS and have received no correspondence related to her claim.  She said, 'good by, maam'.

Got a second message from the same batch of bogus callers, this time the number they called me from was 8953938244. Said to call 2027381233 because the IRS is suing me.

My elderly mother ( in West Palm Beach,Florida)got an automated message telling her to call 202-738-1233 because of IRS  lawsuit.  She has no tax problems.      I told her to ignore it- sounds like it is a scam.

Just got the same message today. Same phone number said final notice and I would be arrested if I didn't pay 3600.00 today.

Got this message, I know it's a scam.
Said the following:
"considered as a final notice from IRS Internal Revenue Service. The reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing a lawsuit against you to get more information about this case file. Please call immediately on 202-738-1233. I repeat 202-738-1233. Thank you."

I received a call today also from 202-738-1233, a woman's voice saying she is the IRS and this is my last notice to pay IRS taxes.  I ignored it and figured, let's look on the bright side, if this is my "last notice,"  maybe she won't call me again.  If these people would put half as much effort into finding a real job as they do scamming, they would probably be doing very well right now :-)
