It called about some money for me.and i don't know if its legit

I got the same call saying the same thing. I don't know where to go to find out if it's real

Just got a call from 469 286 9841he said he was in DC but it came up as Texas on my phone.  he said i received a government grant and could pick it up from western union...all i had to do was call 202 738 1655 to talk to his "supervisor" so he could put the grant through.  Needless to say i haven't called the followup number.

I just received a phone call , saying I won a goverment grant of $7,000 and to call the fallowing number #2027381655 ?

Just receive phone call sayin I got a grant for 7000. to call this number baqck don't know if its legit or fake assuming the later of the 2...

i called the no. they say to take 290.00 to moneygram to access account but to call them b4 i go into the store that they will call money gram and we will stay on the phone til it goes through n 15 or 20 minutes hmmm has me thinkn if their tryn to take the money cuz they also said dnt talk to anyone about it . what do ull think , id really like to try it out but im kinda iffy

Just got a call From 202-738-1655. Saying i was eligible For a federal grant of 7,000. And i could recieve It today. They gave me a grant#. As soon a sí say It they said they are going To look me up And then they hang up The call. I calles twice And same thing. Third time i called there was no answer at all. Is this legitimate? Does anyone know about these calls?
They claim to be the federal reserve department.

Its nothing but a scam!!! I just received the same call and I decided to Google it and this website came up !! Read so you can see what actually happened to someone who actually followed through with the scam! RipOffs!!

I just got the same phone call, saying 7,000 and there with the government. Go to western union. Bullony its a scam . We are not stupid!!! also they have an middle east language and its not the first time ive gotten a call from same type of people.

If it sounds too good to be true it is.  We all need to turn them.  I know I am going too.

this number just 305 260 6860 saying I won a 7,000 Grant don't know if its real I would like to know who this is they said their name was Ryan miller and told me to call 202-738-1655 to get it I did and its sounds really fake I would like to know who this is and why

I yes get phone call to my cell .and they say  goverment have grant many in my name of $ 7,000 they say I have to call back to this # 202-738-1655 the name ho I talk is Lucas and the Id # is 1477.

I received a call from 202-738-1655 telling me I qualified for a grant from the U.S. Grant Dept. because demographics show I have always paid my taxes on time, had no bankruptcys, yada, yada! That I could use the money for bill paying, taxes anything but alcohol and gambling. They gave me a confirmation number and a phone number and went on to ask if I wanted the money direct deposited in my account or a wire transfer.  Yeah, right. What a scam.

got the same than once I called it they ask for 350 to secure the money and I will be reimbursed in the money gram because of taxes in my state never heard of a grant being taxed told them no so they told me to pick it up at the new York bank as them for a number and address they give me nothing scam don't give them no money anybody asking for money to give you money is a scam but it was sure fun calling them on their [***] lol  

Just answered this call.  Caller ID indicated 000-000-0000.  I let the caller go through all of the information he was giving as he didn't ask for any personal information except my age.  He gave me the number as listed above as the call back contact number.  I did ask him if there was a fee for this.  There was a long pause and then he told me the contact at this number would give me any further information.  I knew from the first moment that this was probably a scam but let him continue to get any information from him that I could.  I have looked this number up on a reverse look-up site and see that there have been several reports.  These people ask for money in order to receive the "grant".  That is a tip-off that this is a scam and illegal.  The government does NOT call you to tell you that you can have some money.  Nor does it choose people at random to receive them.  (It would be nice for those of us in need-but this is predatory to those people.) If you do qualify for a grant, you do NOT have to pay for the processing.  

they keep calling me telling me,   my money is waiting for me....  ha ha

Today, I've received this call from Washington, D.C. Stating that, "Because I did not declare bankruptcy in over a year and I had no out standing debt., I was to receive 7,000.00USD from the U.S. Government. This person with a thick Chinese accent told that my code was 0V789 and to call her supervisor at: 202-738-1655! I did so and a man named Jayl (that really should have been spelt, "Jail" said he could send me my 7,000.00 to any Wal-Mart store. I told him, I would prefer a check.. He promptly hung-up on me. I called back, and got Jayll  again. He told me (in a pissed off tone - I AM VERY BUSY AND DONT HAVE TIME FOR YOU!"... They have since blocked my number since I call back every hour.

Working for the U.N.. - I can tell by their accents, they're Chinese.
