I was told to wire 270 to receive a 7500 gov grant I thought this was a scam so I checked this site. My suspicions were correct I didn't send any money. I will not send any.

We got the same "grant" offer. This phone number is in Toronto and is used by many different scams. Google it and see all the references you get on it.

Just got a call from them... I told them they was a scam... Told me I get a grant cuz I have no criminal record whatever

called me wanted me to send them my 290.00 for a 9500.00 grant because i had a clear record

a man by the of "Kevin Smith" called, gave me a western union confirmation #.....insisted they were from the US Grant Dept. and that I was selected to receive a federal grant.  

When you call back the 202 #, a lady told me there is a security deposit of $255 that I would have to take and send before I received my money......ya right! The next thing she heard was a dial tone.

Yep its a scam they. They said I need to go to western union and pay a security deposit of $300 and that I would receive it back plus the other $7500 the promised. I told them this was a scam and that I want an email. address that verify's this is not a scam they game www.grant.gov. I wonder how many people actually get suckered into doing this.

Same thing same number same story pay us 300 will pay you 7500 I filed a report with the FTC

got a call from a middle eastern he said to call that number for a grant. fake ass!
