They call all the time and never respond when I answer. I am on the Do Not Call list, but it doesn't seem to help.

This number calls but will not return any calls to it. SCAM?

I did not recognize the number so I refused to answer. It rolled to voice mail and voice mail message is dead air. The unmistakable characteristic of a phone bank or robocall.

Caller ID says this number is from the Republican National Comity, They call my house every day, without fail, for about two months now. Perhaps longer. I have asked them to stop calling, but the rude man who keeps calling all but laughs at me when I ask. They are trying to contact my elderly mother so they can scam some money from her. I will not allow them to speak with my mother, so they harass my family with never ending calls. Nice people those republicans.....

They've been calling my cell phone all the time too.  Probably a scam job of some kind.  John, anyone can claim to be from the RNC but something tells me that the people that called us are blowin' smoke out their anal orifice.

I was away for a week. This number called every single day. My caller ID identifies it as the Republican National committee. I think I will actually answer it the next time they call and see if I can get any answers from them. That many calls is so annoying it would work against them.... so is it them or someone trying to make people mad and vote the other way?

I get several calls a DAY on my home phone from this number. It's the Republican National Committee.  They do not leave a message.  Are they taking surveys?  Asking for money?  They really need to stop calling.

Same here, every damn day I get a call from this #.  It's frustrating.  The least they could do is leave a message.

I just stupidly picked up a call from these folks, thinking it was a client. They claim to be the Republican National Committee, and they are raising funds. The lady was very persistent. I finally told her that it was the Republican congressmen's responsibility to stand up to Obama's policies and they were already receiving a salary, so they didn't need my money. And I hung up on her. I am on the Do Not Call list, but that doesn't seem to stop anyone from calling.

It's the Republican National Committee.  I told them about 4 months ago that I had become an Independent and to please stop calling me - and they did.  About a week ago I received an RNC 2013 membership card in the mail, and they recently begun to call again.  The truth is I never did switch parties, and I have a feeling they might check once in a while - having volunteered for campaigns before, I know they can get lists of voters from counties.  The good thing is that my new phone has an auto-reject feature, so I've added this number :-)

forget the do not call list, means absolutely nothing. if you answer some of the surveys, they gladly sell your number, thereby getting past the do not call because you agreed to letting your number out.so don't open anything unless you absolutely trust it

Yeah these guys have been calling me off and on for a year. They call me at least once a day for a week or so, stop for a few days, then start again. After I picked up a few times and told them to stop, they just simply hide their caller ID now.

Republican National Committee calls almost everyday asking for donations.

"Unknown" caller ID with this number.

Called at 6:00pm, Monday.

I am tempted to get a whistle and when someone comes on the line when I answer, blow the whistle HARD and laugh when the soulless piece of dirt with the headset feels his eardrum splitting.

Most Republicans actually are nice. They are the ones paying for your mother's medicaid and medicare so you ought not bite the hand that feeds her by making rude generalized comments. One of these days you all are going to agree to kill the golden goose and them where will you be? Most of us Republicans would love it if the country could just be split down the middle and you can have yours and we'll have ours and just see how it all turns out. I'd much rather have a rude Republican call and TRY to scam me than the whole freaking Democratic party steal everything I've got "legally" through the IRS!

I got many many calls from various numbers, one of them is this one, but the guy at the end of the line is the same guy (his voice is unmistakable).  He sometimes spoofs the caller ID to a local number near me. I don't think it's really the Republican National Committee, but a fund raiser scam.  I can't see that the RNC would be spoofing caller IDs.
