no message, 2-3 times a day.

They call twice daily, every day. No message. Very annoying.

American Lung Association calls from this number out of Washington DC.  My phone reads "Out of Area", but I've also had a caller from ALA.  

Calls 1-2 times per day, never at the same times. Calls as early as 8 AM, late as 9:30 PM. No response when I pick up the phone, never left a message.

I have received 20 some calls this month from 2027702489. They call as early as 8:00 a.m. and as late as 9:30 p.m. If I receive a call from someone else, immediately after hanging up phone they call. It is like they know when I receive a call. Do not like this. They name on the ID is "ALA".

I received another call this morning from 202-770-2489 (10:51 a.m.) with the caller ID as ALA.  I've received many calls over the last few months from ALA as well, but not at the severity of what others report. The caller asked for my husband by name.  When I said he wasn't available the woman said thank you and hung up before I could ask for a message.  I decided to reverse the call to ask why they called, I got a recording saying "If you would like to make and receive calls anywhere in the United States for free, go to magicjack.com."  The recording also said the number I was calling had not been assigned to anyone yet and to check the number and call back.  I've read that some people think that ALA is associated with the American Lung Association - I highly doubt this.  What I think is happening is people are using Magic Jack to make free scam calls, erase their tracks by deleting their ID from the number and get a new number from magicjack.com. - just my opinion.

An addition to my post above:  Just so everyone knows...I just tried to go to the magicjack.com web site to see if they were legit and I got a warning from my computer security service that the site had some problems and I was urged not to continue.  Now I'm thinking this may be a way someone could get access to computers - hoping you call the number back, get that recording about free calls and think what a deal and go to the web site. Once you get into the web site, they can then easily capture your computer address and then have access to sensitive information.

This number has been calling one to 2 times a day for quite a while.  No one there.  Shows as ALA

My caller ID shows this number as Amer. Lung  Assoc. They have called my phone every day since 2/24/2016 using 4 different numbers. No message. The numbers they call from: 202-770-2406,  202-770-2489,  202-558-3142,  202-650-6149. I've never answered, but they keep calling.

Must be back to old tricks since I see many  2014/15 reports.
Same as others, nobody there or no message left. 6 calls in 6 days.

The numbers they call from: 202-770-2406,  202-770-2489,  202-558-3142,  202-650-6149. I've never answered, but they keep calling.

Receive calls every day, 2 or 3 times, even on weekends.  Very annoying.  They stay on line till answer machine turns on and then hang up.

Keeps calling everyday with another different number,  Can not understand why they numbers cannot be stopped.

ALA is the American Lung Association. It's a robo call for donations.

Many years of calls from these numbers.Call Sunday too. Do not answer to unknown calls, This should be stopped look at all the people this bothers
